We are pleased to welcome Summer to the Tree House family just in time for the season of sunshine, warm weather, beach trips, and hanging out in the backyard! Summer is a heavily oat saturated Double IPA brewed with sunny American hops including Amarillo, Citra, & Magnum. It pours a thick yellow color in the glass, with a billowing, robust head -- a real stunner visually! We taste and smell fresh squeezed orange juice, mango gummies, clementine sorbet, and citrus pith. Summer is a chewy IPA, leaving behind fruity hop oils on the tongue to entice the next sip. Drink it cold and drink it straight from the can for maximum hop enjoyment. This beer has us super excited for a summer of good beer, good friends, and new memories - enjoy!

Amazingly fruity yet not overly sweet, Tree House has figured out the haze game. And while employing the hops of Amarillo, Citra and Magnum, a citrusy and spicy spin on the New England IPA suits summer to a tee.

So, the aptly named Summer kicks off with the expected turbid golden appearance that looks the part of vegemite. As its creamy meringue swells to meet the brim, a fruity potpourri floods the nose with bold tropical fruits, citrus and a peppery, sprucy twinge to the nose that signals hop resins. Sweet and cereal-like on the tongue, a rich flavor of shortcake is met with hints of agave sweetness and a faint hint of caramelization.

As the hops unfold on the middle palate, the full breadth of fruit is on full display starting with mango and orange, followed by pineapple, pink grapefruit, guava, passionfruit and eventually to a pawpaw taste that's remiss of banana cream. Trending spicy and smoothly bitter, the beer's final palate is moderately balanced with green tea, verbena and a peppery fresh spruce, sassafras note.

Medium full on the palate, the beer's long linger of cereal and sweetness balances the hop bitterness but certainly detracts from the beer's dryness and drinkability. A gin-like spice of alcohol decorates the finish after the smoothie-like effects of malt are gone.

This one pours a very hazy golden orange color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like candied mango, pineapple juice, marijuana, pine, and grapefruit pith.

This has such a wonderful softness followed by a nice dry piney and pithy bitterness. It’s super juicy up front, creamy and citrusy, with mango, pineapple, grapefruit, all that.

This is medium bodied, very drinkable, very soft, and very smooth.

Tree House really seems to have come out on the other side of their massive expansion really well. All of the beer that I’ve had lately has been quite tasty.

Yellow brown, almost reddish notes in the body, less yellow than these guys usually lean towards I feel, but still pretty standard. Really nice white lacing on the glass. A bit of sweet raisin and date bread and crackers in the nose, but followed by fig, sticky cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple. Mango on the palate, orange juice, some white bread. Whatever 8.1% may be hiding in this beer is hard to find. Nice hop resin towards the back, creamy feel that comes standard from Treehouse. Great.

All of Treehouse NEIPAS look amazing, have a great mouth feel, decent head , and lacing. This one was a little on the drier side. Very good flavor, but not my favorite Treehouse beer. Still better than most beers that I’ve had on my east coast brewery tour.
