Notes: With Curiosity Seventy Eight, we experimented with how regionality affects the hop characteristics in our beer. We chose to utilize Citra grown in Idaho for this batch; historically, our Citra selections have been from the Yakima region of Washington. To our delight, Curiosity Seventy Eight turned out exceptional! We taste orange sorbet, creamy pineapple, and ripe stone fruit sustained by a dense and satiny mouthfeel - what a treat! We are super excited to share the unique and individual terroir of the Gem State with you in Curiosity Seventy Eight. Enjoy!

16 oz. can. Murky orange body. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits hops with an oaty backdrop. Tastes of acidic fruit up front, but it's cut by earthy hops and light orange hops. Oat flavor is strong here too. A touch of sweetness. Medium body. Very drinkable for a DIPA. Excellent.

poured from a 16oz can into a teku glass. pours a hazy gold with a finger and a half of frothy white head. smells like straight orange juice with some noticeable alcohol sting to it. i’m into it. taste is similar but has a little bit of maltiness to the finish that i typically don’t associate with the style or the brewery. mouthfeel is a little less than what i’ve become accustomed to from these guys. thins out in the finish. overall this curiosity was a little more miss than hit. bound to happen with this series. last few i’ve had have been really good. not a bad beer by any means but TH is capable of better.

Picked up at the brewery and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden orange hue with a fat one finger creamy head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wisps.

S - Aromas of orange marmalade and citrus peel, nothing extreme or incredible if anything it's generic Citra hops.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice almost spicy hips, orange cream and juice. Not as generic as the nose. Good light bitterness, mostly citrus juice and flashes of almost vanilla.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, smooth, good fluffy nougat like feel. Alcohol hidden nicely.

O - Overall this was a solid enough dipa. The Citra was solid, however, the nose wound up coming across as super generic Citra hips.

Thanks to rudzud

Pours a medium foamy thicker frothy head with medium retention, good soapy lacing, hazy cloudy medium orange color

Nose is very typical Tree House, generic Tree House NEIPA, some chalky mineral and doughy malt, citrus like orange rind notes, hint of tropical

Taste fair citrus, orange rind, tangerine, pithy, little zest, fair bitterness turning to a high spicy hop bitterness later, again very generic Tree House NEIPA, little mango, faint grapefruit pith, some chalky mineral and doughy malt, medium bitterness, finishing with drier but mild sticky and lingering hop bitterness

Mouth is med bod, fluffy juicy feel, medium carb, hint of alcohol

Overall not bad but basically just a generic Tree House IPA, taste was decent but it's really generic typical Tree House NEIPA with nothing really special

Pours ultra hazy, gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is orange juice, mango, and light grapefruit. Heavy bodied with moderate carbonation and bitter. Makes for a solid dipa. Kinda in the upper middle of the Curiosity series. Glad I got to try it.

We got a wild one here, my peeps. And I’m talking like a killer whale swimming in the attic ocean wild! They called this one a standard IPA, but it poured pretty murky like your little brother’s thought process after a bong load. Smell is nice and ripe like the first day of spring; while the taste is hella hazy citrus, along with a lil spike of... I dunno. That’s why it’s wild. I can’t describe it! Raul man likes it. Raul man likes it well and good and he’d be all kinds of happy to have another!
