From a 16oz can, dated 10/21/20... Boo. Served in an IPA glass.

Pours dark and murky, apricot purée-like in appearance, with a finger-plus of pouffy head. Retention is excellent, leaving a thick blanket of foam over all.

Nose is straight-ahead yeasty, like homemade white bread. No hop character whatsoever detected in the aroma.

Oddly, taste is rather in line with the nose, inasmuch as there isn’t much of it. Ample and tasty grapefruit peel-type bitterness but that’s pretty much it, otherwise just sort of grassy and cardboardy.

Feel is clean and quenching, juicy (grassy cardboard juice, but still) and medium bodied with bright, tingly carbonation.

Maybe I’ve lost my sense of taste?

A: Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves good lacing

S: Tropical fruit and citrus up front along with some lighter floral notes and stone fruit

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a wave of tropical fruit followed by a mix of citrus and floral notes. Lightly bitter. Finishes with lingering tropical fruit and floral notes

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very soft

O: Another great DIPA from TH. Super easy to drink with some light restraint on the hop intensity. Definitely a solid seasonal and one to seek out

I like this as a TH seasonal. Gingery spice color, thick with a slightly cream colored head, supreme retention. Only knock is the body could be brighter with more luminescence. Dry grassiness, peach rings, honey clementine, sweet earthy/floral reminiscent of delicata squash. Touches of pine and orange pith leave a slightly bitter taste. Really smooth body that's still medium in feel despite how plush. Well-carbonated.

Hard to review TH IPAs and DIPAs out of Charlton No Flavor or aroma consistency at all from batch to batch. I don’t know how It’s possible but since Charlton I have had and met fellow TH fans who agree that a four pack seems like different beers! Maybe stop growing and work on your core IPAS and consistency!

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip. Love the can art.

L: Hazed juicy golden pour. Thick foamy white head. Great lacing.

S: Big citrus and tropicals. Grapefruit, tangerine, and mango. Smells like Tree House.

T.F: Light grain bill with big time orange/tangerine citrus and grapefruit rind. Lighter tropicals with mango and pineapple but this one is citrus dominant. Semi sweet fruit with modest hop bitterness. The ABV is well hidden. Creamy carbonation and sticky... great mouthfeel. More citrus and fruit at the finish.

O: Another elite DIPA from Tree House. Always a pleasure.

Trick pours an opaque, dark orange with a thick, full 1-finger, golden head that deposits some nice spiderweb lacing. The smell is citrus fruit, berries, citrus zest and a hint of stone fruit. The taste is smooth and creamy over the palette, llightly carbonated with a bitter citrus and juicy tropical, with a sweet candied orange marmalade.

16 oz. can.
Canned 10/31/19.
Moderate pour yields a 5/4 inch white head over a murky golden body with sticky lacing. Head dissipates down to a ring and a couple islets in a few minutes, but comes back nicely with a few swirls. Nose of tropical fruit and citrus with a bit of floral/herbal aromas as well. Taste mirrors nose nicely with the tropical fruit and citrus lasting all the way to a gentle bitter finish of slight citrus pith. Nice, semi-soft feel and overall, a solid DIPA from Charlton, MA. Cheers to Rob for the hookup!!

16oz tallboy can, sample from a friend.

I dig this beer, its what you expect a hazy DIPA to be. Super fresh juicy character, grassy with a slick oily orange hop essence. Slight piney flavor within. Kiss of warming alcohol and not overly bitter.

TREE HOUSE TRICK DIPA 11/3/19

From the brewery 11/1/19. Fancy can art with glittery bits of an elaborate question mark. Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Tree House stemmed tulip.

a; Opaque greenish orange with an inch thick white head whichy receded to thin surface foam and dense lacing.

s; Intense citrus leaning to pink grapefruit rind and tropicals.

t: Follows the nose with strong bitterness which lingers into the dry finish.

m; Heavier side of medium, great body and lots of carbonation tingle.

o; An extreme TH DIPA, giving the impression of a huge hopload, which may not please all IPA fans, who might reel at its intensity. Perhaps that's the trick. But it's a neat one for those who enjoy such hop power despite the seeming lack of complete balance between malt and hop.

Pours ultra hazy, orange-gold in color with one inch head. Taste is orange marmalade, light lime, white sugar, and lush creaminess. Amazingly light bodied, slightly sweet, with moderate carbonation. Super smooth and delicate. The body on this is incredible. Does not hit you over the head with hops. Excellent and different. Should have gotten more of this.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a fat one finger creamy head that fades to leave nice lacing and wisps.

S - Aromas of fruity berry skins and light stone fruits. Good citrus zest, pleasant tropical fruits, mango, rather solid.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice slightly bitter citrus peel, almost sweet marmalade. Good candied orange slices as well as nice candied dried tropical fruits.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, good thick fluffy feel.

O - Overall this was a solid enough dipa, nice fruits, nothing super assertive. Solid hop and malt bill.

Thanks to rudzud
Nice creamy foamy head with medium retention, nice lacing, cloudy hazy dark orange color

Nose fair citrus, tangerine, little orange juice, a touch of pith and citrus rind, mango like tropical notes, little doughy pithy malt, little stone fruit

Taste big creamy doughy malt, with citrus, orange rind zesty, tangerine, with some stone fruit as well, quite sweet though, like overly annoyingly sweet, little chalky mineral and doughy wheat creamy, citrus oil, medium bitterness, drier finish, lingering pithy and a little citrus and rind lingering, medium to higher bitterness

Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, creamy like with medium higher carb, almost no alcohol

Overall pretty nice
