SaturatedSaturated
Notes: Saturated is a Tree House Double IPA brewed with orange blossom honey, golden syrup, homemade mango simple syrup, and a blend of fruit forward American hops. It is carefully crafted to gently convey the essence of its individual constituents without an overly saccharine result. Saturated pours a glowing orange color in the glass and emits flavors and aromas juicy fruit gum, mango puree, light citrus honey, and sweet apricot. It is deeply complex and original, carving out a beautiful path of individualism and intrigue within our line-up of hoppy offerings, and we are quite excited to share it with you today!

Wow! so smooth and creamy. All the fruit and honey blend together into a sweet nectar. So good!

A: Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a decent cap that leaves good lacing

S: Citrus up front along with the orange blossom honey and mango syrup coming through. Quite fruity

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of citrus, orange blossom honey, and mango syrup followed by a firm bitterness. Some lighter floral notes present as well. Finishes with lingering citrus and mango

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A great DIPA that is super easy to drink. The hops mix nicely with the honey and syrup, which dry it up quite a bit and take away most of the sweetness. Interesting for sure. Worth a drink

Can from tfontana, thanks again!
Hazy murky lemon yellow in color with a decent sized fluffy white head that persists. Fruity honey and citrus with a sweet beady maltiness. Earthy pithy and bitter resin. Not bad

Canned 1/7/21. "Is it saturated in here or is it just me?" stamped on the bottom of the can

Well we have another interesting one here, at least by Tree House standards. Just like Super Vivid was brewed with fruit powder, this is brewed with orange blossom honey and fruit syrup. Super Vivid wasn't bad, but I hope that this is better for a rather experimental brew

Pours a hazy pale yellow with 2 fingers of soapy off white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing

The added honey plays well with the citrusy hops in the nose on this one. I pick up on aromas of overripe tangerine, orange peel, mint, earthy honey, herbal hops, and a touch of dry malt

The taste, well, just doesn't seem to be executed all that well. Up front it is pretty muted, bringing forth notes of lightly tart mango, grapefruit, and citrusy hops. The swallow makes things even sweeter, where notes of honey, lemon peel, and herbal hops all clash for a rough ride of a finish

A medium full body is moved along by gentle tingling carbonation for a beer that at least goes down easy despite the less than stellar taste

Oh, look at that, it's even more of a letdown than Super Vivid :( While it wasn't bad, it's quite sweet and heavy. I think TH does much better without the adjuncts in their IPAs. Regardless, I'll still finish the remaining cans I have left of this

L: A chalky OJ with a finger width of orange-tinged ivory head, with lower than average retention and a wide drippy band of lacing.

S: Heavily tangerine with an accent of coconut and cream.

T: Follows the nose but also dank and quiet dry!

F: Sticky medium-heavy weight with also a mouthfeel of spirits.

O: Simple IMO but not too bad.

Poured from 16oz can into a tulip.

Appearance: medium golden-orange hue with tons of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. Looks like a hazy to me!

Smell: sweet and juicy with a tropical fruit aroma; there's also a dank, perfumey element that is very vaguely reminiscent of purple jellybeans to me. Gotta say -- I like it.

Taste: the flavor manages to be fresh and dank at the same time. The bitterness builds slowly, which I like. There's kind of a chewy, resinous character here too that I enjoy. A good beer indeed.

Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a nicely smooth creaminess. Very good indeed.

Overall: this didn't end up being quite the juice bomb of other Tree House beers I've had, but it's still damn tasty.

Canned 6/15/20, rated 7/31/20. Another delicious hazy DIPA from Tree House. This is the second of the fruited series that I've tried from TH, after Radiant. I liked the peach-forward flavor of Radiant a bit more than this one, but the more mango-intense flavor in Saturated was delicious too. Super-smooth and refreshing, but definitely more on the sweet side than dank and bitter. Can't wait to try some of the other beers in this series, like Luminescent and Shimmer.

Hazy dark orange with light fluffy lacing. Smell is fruity-mango, orange, grapefruit, and sweet honey. Taste is juicy, citrusy, zesty and tangy with a slightly sweet honey with a nice bit of bitterness from the hops. Light to medium bodied, mouth watering, boozy. Very good, not great like some of their stuff.

Awesome 16oz can sent to me by Dope (thanks!) poured into a can-shaped nonic.

A: I mean this is straight pulpy orange juice (sans floaties) - bright full-hazed orange with a fluffy off-white head.

S: Really expressive mango in the nose, impressively so. Backed up with lots of sweeter honey/floral notes and underlying orange/citrus character.

T: The mango shines here as well, tastes like honey-drizzled mangoes dipped in OJ. Underlying floral, peachy, juicy, sweet citrus, honey, bready malt...sweet and very fruity.

MF: Big body and sweet, with the abv and the added honey this is a big mouthfeel.

O: A good brew that I would like more in a single-IPA format instead of a bigger 8+%. The last of the TH hoppy beers in the box, and I'm sad, though this one overall is not my favorite of the bunch.

Canned on 6/15/2020. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a dense, muddy tangerine color with an amazing, thick, creamy, almost solid, dome-shaped head and abundant, soapy lacing. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a well-formed head. The aromatic smell features pineapple, ripe honeydew melon, lemon, grapefruit, and lite floral hops. Its taste opens bright and juicy with ripe pineapple, melon, and mango balanced against tart lemon and grapefruit. The hop bill provides juiciness but only subdued bitterness. The mouth feel is sticky but not quite as thick as other Tree House DIPAs. The carbonation level is perfect and it drinks much too easily for 8.3% ABV. Overall, Saturated is an appropriate name: it's packed with fruit flavor and is an absolute delight to drink.
