Wanderer is our unfiltered German-style Helles Lager. A meticulous, highly technical beer brewed utilizing traditional techniques and ingredients, Wanderer is crisp, bright, and immensely enjoyable. Wanderer pours a brilliant straw gold color in the glass with a puffy, bright white foam. It carries a flavor profile of doughy malts, light straw, clean lager yeast, and just the right dash of zippy noble hops. Beers that command your attention are a wonderful thing. Beers that can fade into the background and sort of be an unspoken companion to celebratory moments in life are also a wonderful thing and deserve to be held in equally high esteem. As a crisp, highly drinkable, and beautifully executed beer, Wanderer fits this profile beautifully. Enjoy!

Poured from a can dated 06/06/22 into a willi becher.
Look: A lively, deep gold with a slightly off-white and rocky head. Perfectly clear.
Smell: Loads of crackery/white bread with some grain followed by grassy notes from the Noble hops and some sulfur.
Taste: Matches the aroma almost beat for beat. Bready/grainy malt up front with moderate sweetness. Follows closely with the noble hop grasiness and continues with just the slightest bit of sweetness at the end before finishing perfectly dry.
Feel: Medium body, low to moderate carbonation. Very crisp and smooth.
Overall: An outstanding helles. Arguably the best one I've had to date simply due to the freshness and perfect balance TH seems to have achieved.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours a clear effervescent yellow with a foamy off-white head. No lacing. Aroma and flavor feature clean bready/grainy malt and floral/grassy noble hops. Crisp, smooth mouthfeel. Overall a fantastic helles lager that hits all the right notes.

Tree House Brewing Co. "Wanderer"
16 fl. oz. can coded "KEEP ON WANDERING 03/16/22 06:15:53" and sampled on 05/18/22
$13.20/4-pk at the brewery on 05/12/22
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a clear deep gold body beneath a finger's width of rocky bright white foam. Just based on the amount of fine bubbles rising from below I'm going to say that it's not as carbonated as their Pizzeria Pils which I just had. In the nose it's fairly mild with some grainy malt and floral and earthy hops. The taste is as the aroma suggests it will be. It's sweetish and grainy with delicately floral and earthy notes and a balancing, moderate bitterness. I'm guessing this is somewhere around 20 IBUs. It's very nicely balanced and super easy to drink. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural moderate carbonation that leaves it smooth. The head has held up well and I still have an almost soild surface covering beneath broken walls of lacing. Nicely done!
