Force Of WillForce Of Will
Notes: Force of Will is a Tree House Double IPA brewed with tropical blend of American hops propelled by a honed-in process paired with our house yeast.

Every so often a beer comes through the brewery that marks a seminal moment of progress in both spirit and outcome; in 2019, this beer was Very GGGreennn. So far in 2020, Force Of Will marks a heightened standard across the board for us.

Drawing on the hyper-focus imparted by our current circumstances, the mouthfeel, body, hop density, and flavor-saturation of Force of Will are tremendously amplified.

Pouring a glowing orange color in the glass, it carries a richness and juiciness about it that finds a new gear in our innovative IPA repertoire. Notes of heavy citrus, peach nectar, mango puree, and pineapple juice grace the palate, carried by a supple and full mouthfeel. It is a hopeful beverage , indeed - Enjoy!

Poured from a can (no date I could find) into a pint glass

L: creamy darker orange with a thick white head that isn’t going anywhere a few minutes post pour. Some big bubbles in that foam. Great thick lacing, nearly Very Green quality

S: very smooth, overripe tropical fruit and citrus. Orange, peach, pineapple, mango lead beautifully. Slight bitterness. Great aroma, not nearly the “bomb” I expected based on other TH brews but very good

T: everything from the nose flows through on the swallow, very smooth and flavorful. Orange again leads, moving to a great peach/mango/“tropical” note. Nice bitterness (hops plus citrusy grapefruit) on a medium-long finish. Incredibly drinkable, like most every TH IPA I’ve had

F: smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, again incredibly drinkable

O: a really good IPA, very flavorful with the drinkability what really sets it apart. Nice bitterness that’s missing from most NEIPAs these days. Doesn’t dethrone Very Green in my book but a delicious beer regardless

L - another high praise beer. I loved VGGG, so let's see what's up. Pours a murky, turbid dark orange, but with a pink mango hue. Solid color in the glass.

S - forceful aroma with a surprisingly resinous oniony vibe. Soft, muddled bubblegum and overripe papaya combine with thick peach candy and orange vanilla. Hints of TH's fruited IPAs as far as fruit saturation goes.

T - peach puree up front; thick and creamy. Peppery hop bitterness creeps in and leaves a rindy, oily, residue behind. Pineapple? Vanilla and mango creamsicle. Pungent and warming. Zesty pink grapefruit and a minty fresh herbal crispness to finish. Dry and tangy.

F - full, sludgy, and thicc af. Absolutely chock full of hops. Mealy and mouth-coating.

O - errs on the bitter side of TH IPAs. Force of Will is packed with flavor and hops, imparting a potent grassy bitterness complemented by overripe rindy flavors and sensations. It's aggressive and leaves my mouth numb.

Previously canned as Very G G Greennn

Pours Bright opaque orange with a thick fluffy white head that dissipates into soapy lacing

Big aromas of peach nectar, pineapple, mango and citrus

Taste is full on juice bomb with notes of peach. mango and a pineapple finish

Full rich mouth feel flavors all come through with an astringent dry prickly finish. medium to low carbonation

over all a really good beer and an excellent representation of a New England DIPA
