World-Class
Juice ProjectJuice Project
Notes: Deviating from our customary process, we utilized a small amount of hop extract in the kettle and saved the entirety of the hop onslaught for the cold side of the brewing process. Featuring the most substantial dry-hop of any Tree House beer to date, the total hop volume is actually reduced in comparison to beers of similar stature. The result is staggeringly juicy with a soft bitterness and monstrous drinkability. In lieu of sincere tasting notes, I’ll just let Dan on the canning line’s description of Juice Project speak for itself: “It’s tastes like an orange creamsicle mimosa.”

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours ultra hazy, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is lots of peach and cantaloupe. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Lots of great fruity flavors. Have had more complex Tree House dipas but this is good.

Fruit Project Mango + Stonefruit
Treehouse Brewing
Date: 24 Feb 2021
My continued pursuit for all things Treehouse, this my twelfth beer. The beer eclipsing the six-month marker; however, the last beer I had that was an IPA over six months did not have any oxidation characters. Moving forward with the review. I used my Jester King glass and served the beer at 46 degrees. Pouring the beer created a lovely two-fingered creamy and airy white head. The retention of the head is excellent, leaving vast amounts of lacing on the glass as it slowly dissipated. The color charts around SRM 6, pale gold with straw yellow hues. This beer is cloudly, which is akin to the NEIPA style.

I detect oranges, mandarins, a subtle tropical note, a malty sweetness, lightly toasted malts, a touch of floral, a hint of herbal, and some earthiness. The tropical aroma is hard to detect; I am not sure if it is mangos, pineapple, or passion fruit.

The flavors in the beer are mangos, oranges, mandarins, peaches, a hint of floral esters, fresh morning dew, earthiness, malty sweetness, and biscuits.

The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent and tannic.

The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and has a fuller finish.

The beer is ripe with oranges, maybe too much ( the jury is still out); the other core flavors accompany the beer as a whole. The over-dry hopping gave this beer depth and character. I could drink several of these; although, I might be able to stand afterward. The beer is executed perfectly, another reason why Treehouse sets the standard for NEIPA

Flat, boring, sweet neipa. Yea its fine for the style but at this point, haven’t we all had a million slightly overly sweet juice bombs? #makebeerbitteragain.

Can. Hazy golden sunset. White head with lace.

Exactly as the name states. This one is all juice. Tropical and fruity. Mango, orange, papaya, melon, and pineapple.

Smooth and easy drinking. Soft. I really enjoyed this one.

Pours a hazy straw color with a finger of head. The nose is very juicy with distinct notes of citrus fruits. The flavor is pithy with dry citrus notes - I wouldn't exactly call it "juicy." The finish is plenty dry and bitter.

This is a very good offering that doesn't quite meet the hype.

Tree House sets a high bar, so I don't get too disappointed when everything they make doesn't quite turn out to be world-class.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Tree House Brewery in Charlton for about twenty one dollars. My one hundred and thirty seventh brew from these guys. Pretty good.
