Notes: King Cobbler is King Julius steeped on organic freeze-dried peaches! Since King Julius is full of citrus and mango flavors we thought peach would be the perfect compliment to the flavor profile. Would you believe it? It worked out far better than we hoped! We taste intense tropical fruits all amplified by juicy peach and stone fruit character. The mouthfeel is rich and filling, making King Cobbler a joy to drink all the way through the glass. Please keep this beer cold at all times and enjoy it fresh!

The pineapple is strong with this one. It does a good job of balancing the base beer and really fills it out in the mouthfeel category. It also seems to have brought forward a slight peach flavor that I didn't get from King Julius and is generally an improvement from my perspective

Same name but my can sez pineapple but their website sez peaches? Anyway, whichever fruit it is melds seamlessly with with the juicy, citrusy base beer. Maybe a tad sweet overall.

Pours a very attractive hazy orange with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.5

Aroma huge peach, mango, tangerine, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows peach, mango, tangerine, vanilla, and apricot. 4.75

Mouthfeel is rather large, soft creamy carbonation, and at 8.4% huge flavor but really easy going down. 5

Overall an amazing beer. 4.75

L - pours a kind of... grey..er version of typical Tree House mango juice. Must be all the yellow filtering in from the pineapple. Startlingly white head in contrast that dissipates quickly, but leaves a slick sheen on the surface. Held up to the light, it looks like a ripe peach.

S - aromatics are fainter than I'd expect for a TH beer of this magnitude. Fleshy stonefruit up front that quickly pops into strawberry banana. The sweet pineapple acidity starts to come in as the glass warms.

T - fruit punch. Bright and tropical... rather exotic tasting. This combo of flavors makes King Cobbler drink more like a fruit smoothie than a beer. Tickles of coconut mixed in with a tour of pineapple town, all the way from gentle acidity to ripe sweetness. All the while flirting with mango creamsicle and buttery vanilla. Finishes dry and lightly acidic. Perhaps a bit too crisp for such decadence contained within.

F - it's a beer that somehow manages to nail that pineapple pulpiness through the hop paste feel and somewhat sensual acidity.

O - definitely let this one warm up. All the bright, shiny flavors will be muted otherwise. As it does warm, though, the luxurious fruit-filled flavors come through. Not as sticky and overripe as a lot of TH's other creations, but still sweet and juicy. Loving the unique take on pineapple, focusing more on its sweetness than its earthiness.

Picked-up a single can at Tree House in Sandwich for $6.55. My two hundred and twenty fourth brew from these guys. This fine, but my least favorite of the King beers.

Poured from a can dated 8/26
Bright thick orange color, foamy inch thick head. Nice lacing and full cap.
Aroma of peaches and stone fruits, slightly tropical smelling but peach is the dominating aroma.
Taste is peach and some citrus not real sweet and a little dry
Mouthfeel is syrupy and rich. Slightly bitter to dry finish. some lingering astringent like feel.
Overall its very tasty, the peach blends well with the citrus nature of the King Julius base

Pours hazy, orange gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is big peach, mango, and vanilla. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, bitter. Nice marriage of peaches and the king. Peach puree is nice and strong. Excellent beer. Will get this again but I prefer King Creamsicle.

Canned 8/26/21. "Peachy keen and squeaky clean" stamped on the bottom of the can

I'm gonna be honest; I had Cobbler last night and it was the worst beer I've ever had from Tree House. It was just a syrupy mess of a beer. Because of that experience, I'm not exactly excited to try this one. But, I have a single can anyways and just had the other version last night, so I suppose this is the best time to see what this is like. I'm hoping the bigger base of King Julius is a better platform for the peaches, but I'm managing my expectations

Pours a hazy pale orange gold with 3+ fingers of creamy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing

Once again, we have a killer aroma, but I won't get too excited. Last night with Cobbler was the same exact story; an amazing nose and a total letdown in taste. I'm picking up on aromas of overripe cantaloupe, peach rings, pie crust, orange juice, fresh dough, toasty grain, grassy hops, and light pineapple

Oh thank god. It's nowhere near perfect tasting, and is quite sweet, but it's leaps and bounds better than regular Cobbler. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting juicy peach, orange juice, papaya, white grapefruit, doughy malt, and light grassy hops. It sweetens up on the swallow, bringing forth notes of syrupy peach, white grapefruit, candied orange, vanilla bean, doughy malt, and pineapple juice

A medium full body pairs with moderate creamy carbonation, resulting in a slick and juicy beer. Finishes mostly dry with just a little too much sweetness

Better. By leaps and bounds. Cobbler was a disaster, I'm surprised this was actually pretty good. Was it my favorite from them? God no, that title actually goes to OG King Julius. This was a fun experiment that I'd actually pick up again
