Green-ish was an inevitability for hot summer days. Crafted to be everything you love about Green, but in a pale ale form! Green-ish carries a glowing orange body and a uniquely fluffy appeal. Pouring a beautiful yellow in the glass, it carries notes of fresh squeezed pineapple juice, earthy citrus, passion fruit, melon, and mixed tropical fruits offset by an appropriate and thirst-quenching bitterness. It's pale ale Heaven!

The Green family is my favorite from Treehouse and Green-ish is very clearly a member of that family. While having less body than Green, it doesn't hold back on flavor. In fact, the grapefruit rind bitterness that I love in Green may be even more apparent in Green-ish, perhaps due to less malt to balance it.
Edit: not going to change my rating, but the can of Green-ish that I just opened has a distinct Isoamyl Acetate (banana) flavor, which doesn't go at all well with the other flavors in the beer. This is weird, as the other three cans from the same batch didn't have this at all. I guess it's possible that the Focal Banger I drank previously has sensitized my palate in some way, and indeed the banana flavor in the green-ish seems much weaker as I go through the can, but it's still noticeable, especially in the aftertaste.

16oz. can into a Founders snifter.
Pours a pale hazy orange. Nice head and lace. Nose is mellow orange and grapefruit. Bright, prickly. Beer opens pine, resin, and orange zest. Some unripened pineapple and starfruit in the middle. Super dry. Citrus and more tropical fruit zest towards the end. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down aggressive, crisp, with a bone dry finish and a sticky aftertaste.
While I'm normally a fan of Green over Julius, Juli-ish is far beyond what Green-ish is. This beer is more muted and doesn't quite replicate in Green, what Juli-ish does in Julius. That being said, the fact that it's 5.4% and packs that much flavor is beyond impressive.

From a can dated 11/20/22 purchased at Tree House, so super fresh. And absolutely delicious. Could easily drink this every day and be perfectly content. Great flavor and refreshing
