Poured into a 20 tulip glass canned on 3/29/23. Pours a very attractive hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.75
Aroma is huge fresh tangerine, guava, papaya, mango, and apricot. 4.75
Taste follows tangerine, guava, papaya, mango, and apricot. 5
Mouthfeel is big, soft gentle almost creamy carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8.9% huge flavor but easy drinking. 5
Overall Jumbo Treat is a treat indeed. I am pretty dazzled with this one. 4.75

From a 16oz can, dated… no date stamp. Wha’? Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a thick-appearing mango pulp-colour with two fingers of soft, cream colored foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat, creamy cap and a thick blanket of gobby lacing.
Nose is sweet and fruity. Orange creamsicle comes to mind.
Taste is dense, dank and fruity with unanticipated pithy bitterness - in fact, the tension between candy-like, juicy sweetness and pithy, gritty bitterness is like to make the eyes roll up in my head. Tasting grapefruit pith, orange smoothie, mango skin and underripe banana.
Feel is creamy-thick and juicy, hefty enough bodied but with ample fine, tingly carbonation to keep things moving. Lip-smackingly sticky, tongue-scrapingly gritty.
Overall, not as sweet and candy-like as I seem to remember Treat and Super Treat having been, and certainly not as much as the can label would lead you to expect - all to the good. In fact, there’s a respectable level of citric-type bitterness although my brain gets that a little jumbled up with raw hop burn. And, um, what’s up with the undated can?! Just stop that shit right now!

Jumbo Treat is a double IPA from Tree House Brewing. It is currently rated 96 on BA, another world-class beer. Jumbo Treat is an incredibly well-crafted IPA. The beer pours a beautiful golden color with a nice hazy appearance that is indicative of its New England style. The head is a foamy white that slowly dissipates into a nice cap with ample lacing. The aroma is a blend of hoppy, fruity, and floral notes, making it a delight to the senses. Candied is a great way to describe this IPA, I couldn’t do a better job than the description from Tree House - “orange juice, orange gummies, mango sherbet, and tropic fruit bubble gum.” Brilliant! The palate is equally as impressive, with a bold and hoppy taste that is backed up by a well-balanced sweetness. The beer has a medium body and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, which is a testament to the high quality ingredients that Tree House uses in all the beers I’ve had from them! The bitterness is well-balanced and is not overpowering. Overall, Tree House Brewing Jumbo Treat has a great balance of bitterness, sweetness, and hoppy flavor, making it a must-try for any beer drinker. If you're looking for an IPA that is both delicious and easy to drink, look no further than Tree House Brewing Jumbo Treat New England IPA.

This one pours a hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like mango smoothies, bubble gum, pulpy orange, candied orange.
This is big sticky and sweet, pretty heavy on the palate, but quite tasty and creamy. It’s got a very sweet candied fruity flavor, with a just a hint of floral bitterness. That bitterness is not strong though – it’s just a ton of juicy sweetness.
This is medium bodied, super creamy, and very drinkable.
This is quite decadent, as IPAs go, and quite tasty as well.

Pours a light golden color, very hazy. Ample foamy head. Hoppy citrus aroma. Flavor is peach, light guava, lemon rind, citrus. Creamy texture. Overall a very big beer, dense with hops, rough to drink when under 30 days old, prime at 44-60 days. At 3 months old (this review), the hops faded a bit but it is still very flavorful. Would buy again.

This was another beer from Tree House that I traded for last week, as I love nearly everything that I can get my hands on from them. Indeed, this was a juice bomb that easily could have been mistaken for a dessert beer, as it was plenty sweet without feeling over the top or contrived. Then again, did you expect anything less from these guys?
Of course, this was golden, milky, and hazy as it was topped off with a full and even-settling head that complemented the liquid beautifully. Lots of lacing was left behind as the rings were deep and well-defined from top to bottom. Deep orange, sherbet, and bubble gum were in the subdued nose with a hint of dank and earthy hops underneath the initial sweetness. Tons of candied citrus, bright and dank weed, overripe stone fruit, and some cream came through as this warmed up as the initial saccharine sweetness gave way to a darker and heavier brew that was just as inviting and enjoyable.
Plenty of gumdrop and candied sugar stayed on my lips when this went down as the aftertaste was plenty heavy, sticky, and left me wanting another round of this. Dated 8/19 on the bottom of the can with "DRINK ME" written above it, this would have done Alice proud but anyone who loves Tree House would easily be pleased with this result. Indeed, this was the King of the Treat series!

16oz. can into a Side Project snifter.
Pours like orange juice. Big coarse white head with great retention. Thick, almost chunky lace. Nose is orange, unripened pineapple, mango, onion, and marijuana. Aromatic. Beer opens orange, onion, garlic, papaya, and cane sugar up front. Overripe pineapple, more cane sugar, and sweet cream in the middle. Much sweeter than a lot of their other offerings. Slightly astringent towards the end. Bark, grass, mango pit. Sweet aftertaste. Body is light to medium with ample carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate and goes down bone dry with a long, lingering aftertaste.
Not my favorite.

Pours ultra hazy, bright caution light yellow in color with three quarter inch head. Taste is apricot, orange juice, pineapple pulp and white sugar. Slightly sweet, heavy body, moderate carbonation. Sooo much better than Mega Treat. I really like Super Treat and this captures that essence. Nice sweet finish with citrus. Distinctive in the Treat line.
