Lemony is a Double IPA that bursts with notes of bright citrus zest! Pouring a sunny yellow color, a surge of white foam rises above the glass. Citra and Lemondrop hops lead with aromas of lemon zest, lemon meringue tarts, and Meyer lemon candies. A charge of Amarillo then lends softer notes of peach and grapefruit soda.

L - yellow. And I haven't even cracked the can yet. The pour... is also yellow.

S - lemon fruit snacks. Juicy Fruit gum. Bit of vanilla and diacetyl.

T - tangy and acidic. Mild oxidation that actually enhances the lemon flavor. Bitter lemon essence and a touch of lime. I can also see the astringent pink grapefruit mentioned on the tin. And of course the Lemonheads as sweetness creeps in toward the end. Finishes dry and herbal.

F - lighter in body than a 7.8% TH beer might suggest, but still smooth and full.

O - a novelty beer that is surprisingly well done. Lemon is usually not even a secondary flavor in beer... maybe tertiary? Quaternary? This beer overall feels a little weak for that reason, but the lemon candy is unmistakable, especially as it warms. Achieves its outlined goals.

Purchased cold at the Deerfield brewery 2-days ago and kept cold until served. Poured from a 16oz can stamped “LIVE WELL 05.12.26” to a nonic.
The body is opaque and light yellow, SRM 2. It looks like a combination of lemonade, orange juice and a dash of milk. The 3/8in/10mm head is white does not last 3-minutes. Lacing is almost nothing, with just a few small webs that fade fast.
The aroma is not as lemony as “advertised”. There is definitely some lemon, but orange and melon sneak in. Not super aromatic.
The taste is similar. Lemon, lime, orange, melon but also some black pepper spice.
The mouthfeel is medium thick, for a hazy, carbonation is appropriate.
Overall, a good beer, but not a lemon bomb.

I don't see beers featuring Lemondrop hops often, interested to try this one. From a 16 oz can, packaged 5/12/26, poured into a Sensorik goblet.

Hazy bright yellow with a half-inch white head that reduces to a thin ring. A few spots of lacing here and there.

Lemon and orange on the nose, some peach also. A bit of a hop spiciness in the background.

Flavors of orange and lemon juice, with some peach notes also. Mild bitterness from start of the sip to the finish. Light on the malt side. Most of the flavors diminish early on in the finish until only a citrus zest-like bitterness remains.

Light to medium body, it's a bit light but it is refreshing.

Very good but not among my favorites. Nice orange and lemon flavors, but could use more malt presence. It drinks more like a lemonade (without the tartness), if that was the goal here, then well done.

Had on tap at Sandwich. Pours milky, pale gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is lemons and dank hops. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. This is Alter Ego with lots of lemons. Vit works and is a new beer.
