BEER INFO

Brewed by:
Tree House Brewing Company
Massachusetts, United States | website

Style: American Blonde Ale

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.10%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
A Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops, a New Zealand varietal that melds beautifully with a simple bill of pale malts. This is a true "session beer" and one that does not make any compromises. It has a delicate bouquet of passionfruit and a slight lemon flavor that will surely quench your thirst.

Filled at the brewery about 2 hours ago.

Pours a light fizzy head that fades semi quickly with a bit of lacing, hazy golden sunset yellow orange colored beer, similar to a wheat beer. The color is nice but the head left something to be desired.

NOse brings plenty of fresh Nelson Sauvin hops, grassy floral with a little earthy twinge, bright musty citrusy fruit but more like a light lemon and little pineapple orange like, little musty grape skin like vinous quality, all that with a touch of a light sweet toasty grainy blond malt.

Taste brings some golden malts at first, a little sweetness, but at the same time a dry grainy bready kinda malt flavor, almost wheat like but not quite, little toasty almost biscuit also but not quite, but a fluffy feel. Then hops, light bitterness but nice musty flavor, again plenty of Nelson Sauvin flavors, little grassy hay and slight earthy, musty grape skin vinous must, little floral at the same time light citrusy fruit again, just a hint lemony and grapefruit rind, abd quite a bit of that slightly tannic musty fruit skin flavor. Finish is dry but somehow a bit sticky, bitterness increases nicely but not a ton, lingering grassy floral hops, with a touch of spiciness and some light vinous musty grape skin again.

Mouth is med to a bit lighter bodied, tons of fluffy effervescent carbonation.

Overall pretty nice, showcases the Nelson Sauvin grapes well, and I'm loving the kiwi hops lately so its great. The malts bring enough profile to not only prop up the hops but bring their own profile and it melds well with the hops. Light easy drinking beer that I could pound a full 2L growler in the late spring early summer probably. Cheers Nate to another well done beer!

Deliciously mild, delicate, crushable session beer. Refreshing on a hot summer day.

Pours a straw yellow with decent head. The aroma is fruit and a bit of black pepper. Full flavor, bit of a hop bite but overall juice. The best blonde ale I've ever had.

A: Light golden color, white smallish head

S: Oooo....fresh beautiful fruits and fresh grains. Some apples, berries of some kind, citrus, dank earthy leafiness. Delicate soft aromas fill my face. Peaches, apricots and tropicalesque scents like pineapples.

T: Lightly sweet, very fresh, and delicious. A fantastic blend of fruit and light grains. Citrus, peach, fuzzy juicy berries... Really interesting hops, and very pleasant.

M: Smooth with lip smacking chewiness. Soft and fluid, juicy somewhat.

O: This is a delightful beer and its freshness is unbeatable.

Can dated 8/22/15 poured into a Teku. Very light straw color with a nice lacing head. Aroma is a very delicate citrus with some slightly dank floral notes. Taste is similar to the smell with a great floral spicy at the end and nice cracker malt and yeast sweetness. The feel of this is crisp and light and super refreshing.

Drinking fresh from a growler.
A - Pours a hazy golden color with a finger thick head that settles quickly but leaves much lacing.
S - Delicate, mild citrus aroma.
T - Light and soft, maybe a little lemony.
M - Mildly carbonated.
O - Very nice session beer. I usually steer clear of these low ABV beers but this one is well done.

I have tried so many TH beers. They all so good to amazing in their own way. The Eureka line is no exception. Light, crisp, super drinkable. The Nelson hops with the light taste of grapes is delicious. Ever pop the skin off a grape? You get the taste of the meat of the grape. Awesome. Brings back childhood memories. The Eureka line are beautiful summer beers.
