Style: American Blonde Ale

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.10%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
A Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops, a New Zealand varietal that melds beautifully with a simple bill of pale malts. This is a true "session beer" and one that does not make any compromises. It has a delicate bouquet of passionfruit and a slight lemon flavor that will surely quench your thirst.

Can dated 8/22/15 poured into a Teku. Very light straw color with a nice lacing head. Aroma is a very delicate citrus with some slightly dank floral notes. Taste is similar to the smell with a great floral spicy at the end and nice cracker malt and yeast sweetness. The feel of this is crisp and light and super refreshing.

Deliciously mild, delicate, crushable session beer. Refreshing on a hot summer day.

Poured from a can dated 08/22 into my spiegelau ipa glass
L: beautiful hazy straw yellow body that looks like it is glowing. Head us huge, comes out of the glass and looks like a pillow of soft fluffy foam. Leaves great lacing the whole way down
S: Subtlety is the key with this beer. There is a faint aroma of lemongrass, apricot, and bread. The smell also has a pinch of some musty quality to it that i can't place
T: Simple citrusy passion fruit tinged hops up front. Very low key but you know they are there. What follows is delightful. Sweet bready, malty goodness that is also very low key and as the sip finishes, the hops come back into play. Somewhat thin, yet smooth at the same time. Moderate carbonation
O: As I finish the beer I marvel at how well it is made. Very well balanced and the delicate flavors all complement each other without ever being overpowering. This would be a great nightly dinner beer. Well done Tree House!
