In town for work and had to see what all the fuss was about. Almost an hour from Hartford airport. Arrived prior to brewery opening. Apparently this was their newest location. All cars directed by the many parking attendants in gravel lot prior to opening gates up to the brewer parking. This was a Thursday and they would be selling 3 double IPAs in cans. The entrance is beautifully marked with a carved wood sign. The grounds are very well kept. The people waiting in line with me were friendly and excited to get some good beer. You can't buy this beer outside of their brewery so very popular and sought after beers. Unfortunately I could not get any or try and of their other beers. It would be nice to come on a Saturday and enjoy a beer under their giant wood pavilion or on their bright green and nicely manicured lawns.

Beer-centric people with an amazingly patient, cordial attitude that somehow manage to process thousands of transactions in rapid succession several days a week. The necessity to wait in line for your cans to go still has not calmed down to this day, so that's going to be your primary experience here if you don't visit on a Saturday, but few people manage such large, demanding crowds as well as the Tree House crew does.

1st visit on 9/13/17. WOW! A spectacular brewery out in the country, large attractive buildings and grounds, plenty of parking and no Industrial Park. Line moved quickly as the staff has a very efficient method of handling things. Availability of only 2 selections is the way they do things and you can't argue with success. The owners brew world-class beers, sell them only at the brewery on limited days and hours creating a demand and large numbers of customers. Do that and beer drinkers will come. A "destination" brewery.

Stopped in the new Charlton location on my way to Worcester on a Friday. Despite being a summer Friday, the line was pretty reasonable (about 100 people), but only took 25 minutes for me to get my allotment on offer (Sap and Lights On) that day. Would like to go back when they're offering pours and enjoy the outdoor area, even with the kids. Really great beers, and look forward to my next excuse for stopping in Massachusetts, as it's just off the Sturbridge exit, coming from CT.

Not sure how people can give this place a 5 for "vibe" as it is pretty much just a long line you have to wait in. There isn't anything to do and you can't have a beer while you are waiting. The beer itself is great, but the service is just a transaction. There are only 2 choices on a given day, so not much selection. If the beer were available elsewhere, there would be no reason to go.

Been there once and was impressed by just how big the line was. OMG!! But why not line up for an amazing brewery with a well earned reputation as one of the best. And a brewery that I could only get their beer AT the brewery. Luckily I brought my wife, thank god she is a wine drinker, as my "mule" and was able to double up on some amazing brews. Well worth a trip (or ten) to a Mecca of sorts for beer geeks. Fun part of the line was shooting the bull with others. Cool. I hope their new place will allow some brews to be tasted though. Probably the only downer was some archaic local rules that didn't allow beer being served for even just small tastes with rare exceptions. Oh well.

The pilgrimage to the new Tree House brewery in Charlton lived up to the hype. You still have to endure the long line, but it is a rite of passage; patience is one of their wild ingredients. It was Wednesday, so only having cans for sale made the line move quicker. The atmosphere was still "Soup Nazi"-esque: know your choice, quantity, and have out your ID, but the staff was friendly and swift. The selection was limited to two choices: "Eureka" and "Bright". "Eureka" is a delicious, innovative twist on an American Blonde Ale. This batch used Mosaic hops, which elevates the style with a complex tangerine aroma. "Bright" is a delectable Double IPA and the day's offering was their Citra variation. It is just as "world class" as others have reviewed it with its juicy notes of citrus fruits well-contrasted by the tropical bitterness of the hops. Whatever is in the water in Central Massachusetts will make me want to venture and patiently wait again and again.

Went to new brewery in Charlton, MA first week new location opened. No cans for sale, however long lines were endured to get 3 pours of on-tap beers. Great new location and vibe, hopefully will be able to support the demand on a consistent basis.
