This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a clean copper color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Light messy lace. The aroma had some floral hops, sweet to bitter with some peach and light honey and a decent malt base. The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially and then developed a little bit of floral to slightly piney hop bitterness. Soft clean bitter hoppiness in the aftertaste rolling into the finish. The feel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty good India pale lager that I could have again.

12 oz. Can 6 pack from the brewery

Hazy gold/amber color, fill of life with a substantial white foam cover to prove it. Recedes slow with nice lace.

The aroma is really very remarkable, a dense hoppy nose, with big pineapple, dry leaves, herbal mix, and a nice array of fruity tones. A sweet bready malt and sour/tangy yeast from the lager side of the aroma.

A seriously clean and crisp bite makes the mouthfeel stand out. Light to medium body with a very excellent dry finish.

The taste is easily the best balanced IPL i've had. A very classic lager flavor shines through, crisp and bready, sour tones from it's yeast with a very "pilsner" taste in the finish. The most lager -forward flavor for this style. The hops are also very impressive, big, dry and herbal tones, once again, dry leaves....very earthy with sour/bitter notes and tangy fruit tones in a very deep way. Excellent complexity and seriously crushability makes this an excellent brew.

Portland Maine is seriously spoiled when it comes to the bar/craft brew scene. My good friend highly recommended Bunker.

Had on tap. Pours clear, tan in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is caramel, toasted malt, piney hops and a touch of orange. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and slightly bitter. Makes for a slightly above average pale lager. Not a bad beer, just nothing I would rush out for.

Pours a dark burnt orange, almost brown in color with a thin off white head that disappears almost a immediately. Aroma is citrus and pine with a whiff of lemony alcohol at the end. Taste has citrus and pine again but adds a bit of mango and some lager character than I can only quantify as corn-like. Mouthfeel seems a touch thin but is probably somewhere in the light-medium range with low-moderate carbonation. Overall this was solid and drinks pretty well.

Plentiful webby lace from a standard bar poured head. The liquid is golden with a mild chill haze.

Fresh hop cone aroma with the distinct smell of spent grains. Except for the lack of yeast smells, this could be a homebrew.

Brief, toasted barley start. The hop bitterness is very strong, leaving a long biting aftertaste. Solid body. Ample carbonation. Crisp like a lager should be but with the flavor of a very bitter pale ale.

From pour on tap. Pours clear with thin head. Smell is weak but possibly a grassy lemon smell. Taste is hop forward with a medium malt backbone. Moutfeel is smooth not sticky. Overall a pleasant beer.

Poured from a 12 oz can.

Pours a hazy deep golden color with 2 fingers of pure-white head. The head is gone rather quickly, leaving a fair amount of lacing as it dissipates.

The aroma is very hop-forward, with notes of citrus and pine upfront, with some spicy hops not far behind. The back end is dank and earthy, with a subtle hint of sweet malt. Not bad, but entirely underwhelming.

The taste is the same as the nose, but reversed. Starts out with some mild caramel and sweet bready malts. Then comes a wave of spicy hops and lemon rind. The finish is surprisingly bitter, and extremely dank. I've never had edible weed before, but I assume this is not far off. Again, not bad, but not really a good flavor to leave lingering on the tongue.

The feel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Sticky as hell and incredibly dry, and the bitterness lingers a bit too long.

Overall, not a fan of this one. I think this brewery knocked the "hoppy lager" style out of the park with Salad Daze, but this one is just too bitter and the feel is pretty bad for this kind of beer.

I got this beer in a beer trade. It is an American Pale Lager, but it is certainly not bland. I loved it.

Look: Amber with a thick bubbly white head.

Aroma: Some caramel and some citrus and fruits

Taste: It's hoppy, with a taste of citrus, mango, pine, and its dank, a very good Lager.

Feel: medium bodied, medium carbonation.

12 Oz can poured into snifter

A: murky caramel dark amber. Almost no head as it pours and it laces the glass a little though.

S: perfumes and tropical fruit. Passion fruit floral and Earthy.

T: lots of passion fruit and grain slightly perfumes like over the top red raspberries.

M: Nice creamy heavier bodied beer

O: not a bad beer but it doesn't stand out either. I like a happy lager and this one is OK but I don't care for the perfumes taste of the hops.
