Notes:
Our seasonal Pale Ale has a big fruity hop aroma with a taste that follows suit. A subtle and balanced malt character creates a canvas for the hops to shine.

Finally, a West Sixth beer I can enjoy, instead of only tolerating it. I drank this in the Pennyrile plateau which definitely added to some of my enjoyment from this brew

A: The beer is hazy amber yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts and has hints of citrusy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of caramel malts along with notes of orange citrus. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This pale is rather malty but isn't that heavy on the palate.

A bit too hoppy for a pale ale.

From a 355ml can. Pour had a fluffy 1-inch off-white foam head and an opaque peach coloring. Scent is mango, pineapple, and a touch of orange. Taste has a strong hop profile, with the citric and pine coming through, along with some maltier toasted notes. Aftertaste is hoppy bitterness...and a bit of malty caramel. Feel is medium bodied and all around a fun drink that verges on too bitter but never quite gets there (a good thing for my palate)!

Canned nearly 3 months before drinking, so near end of “fresh” date.
Appearance: Clean amber , with huge off-white head and clouds of frilly, delicate lace.
Aroma: Citrus and tropical hops. Pretty nice.
Taste: Bittering citrus hops, malts in middle followed but another bitter wash of hops. Solid pale ale that approaches IPA territory.

This is a very solid pale ale from one of Kentucky's top breweries. It tasted lemony to me. I had this in a pint glass from a 12 ounce can and need to buy it again in the near future.

I got this off the single shelf from a Kroger just down the road from south metro ice in Dayton, OH. It poured a clear orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had citrus peel presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel flare. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
