Can. Light amber/orange. Thin frothy head. Hazy.
Standard AIPA hoppy aroma. Some light malt detected.
Phenols dictate the taste. Urgent bitterness on completion.
Rather oily. Medium body and stringent carbonation.
Run of the mill AIPA.

Pours from a can with a deep amber hue and a decent tan head.

Smells of sweet malt, grass, and fruits - mainly grapefruit with subtle notes of the tropics.

Flavor follows closely to the nose, with the hop flavor being more of an afterthought. Unfortunately, there is a definite bitterness that seems to overcompensate for the malt/crystal sweetness - very reminiscent of an East Coast brewery trying to brew a West Coast IPA minus the dry hops.

Finishes dry enough.

Overall, this beer is cleanly made, but the balance and recipe design are not to my taste. Too big in the wrong ways - malty and bitter. Finishes dry enough I can have a second can, but that's where it ends.

I'm trying this at the Roosters in BG, KY. It poured a clear orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of fresh hop. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Floral hop bitterness dominates. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Nice hop taste, nice finish. Not an overbearing hop taste, lingers on the tongue. The color is a nice dark amber. It is a an IPA that I would recommend to friends.

Poured into a clear beer stein. Has a cloudy amber color, moderate carbonation, and thick head.

Smells spicy in hops and piney, with hints of tangerine peels and other citrus aromas. Tastes citrusy to balance out the spicy hops, but is all light to the mouth.

It's all right.

12oz canned 3/27/17 poured into a can glass at fridge temp. No ABV listed. The beer is a slightly hazy light copper color with off white head. The head settles into a cap and leaves some lacing. The aroma is light citrus and pine with malt in the background. The tastes starts with mild caramel malt and fruity hops and finishes with pine. The bitterness is understated but is enough to balance the malts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated and finishes oily/slick but with off taste. Overall, ok, but not something to go out of the way to attain.

Appearance: Pours with a thick bubble show with a clear amber colored liquid building beneath the three fingers of foam; copious amounts of lacing stick to the glass and dribble down the side

Smell: Tangerine and onion, with a hint of caramel underneath

Taste: A caramel base provides the first impression, with the hops quickly taking over; tangerine, grapefruit and onion tones build, through the middle, with a rather sharp bitterness featured in the conclusion

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A decent IPA but a bit out of date in the hop profile department; I am sure I would have liked this more a few years ago

Thanks, SPLITGRIN, for the opportunity
