Good beer, cool place, and great service. Real home town feel and a dedicated team to making great beer. With the new production facility they have a lot more beers available.

Visited for the first time last week. A nice, clean place and easy to find. The man behind the bar answered questions without too much elaboration. A nice selection of beers on tap and most were pretty solid and tasty. Definitely stop in if you are in the area. Only about 15 minutes from Ames.

A great place to hang out and have a beer. A little out of the way but if you find yourself in the area, I don't think you will be disappointed. It's nice to have a little community with a gem like this. I was particularly impressed with the stout they had on hand.

Just off of the main street, Story street. Great atmosphere inside. I think it's because the owner is a carpenter it looks really professional. It's family operated, so the brewer's wife and daughter do the beer serving. They are great at small talk and informing people about beer and brewing. Very patient.
The beer was good. I had the new double IPA. It's got a great aroma of citrus hops. The only down side with the batch I got was the astringent grassiness of the hops after taste. Good body, medium-thick like a Two-Hearted. Copper brown in color. Then I had some stout from a growler. Good, easy drinking stout. Lighter body than the DIPA. At $4/pint, the price is spot on for the area.
For a two barrel system, they have 7 regular beers, which is a pretty good variety. They had a barleywine I would have loved to try, but they were out. Hoping it comes back soon. I liked the feel of the place, very small town elegant. Very local pub. What a pub should be. With good beer and atmosphere. When I was walking out another time a whole family or two sat together at a big table with kids (They serve root beer too).
