A new night spot in Anacortes right next to the Rock Fish Grill (same owners) boasts the most taps in the county at 25. However, of those 9 are Anacortes brewery beers (that you can get next door), 1 is coors light, and another is a cider. That still leaves 14 taps but these are overrepresented by a couple of local breweries: North Sound and Port Townsend and of the rest the only one that was interesting was from Black Raven. Altogether, it really isn't very impressive but perhaps my expectations were higher than they should have been. They certainly have some interesting cocktails and house infused liquors and the service was prompt, fairly knowlegeable and friendly. Of course, there was only 6 people in the whole place. The atmosphere is definitely trying to look like an upscale night club so it's kind of uncomfortable to just go and have a beer early in the night. I didn't try the food but they had a couple of interesting selections I would like to try even though it's prepared in a closet sized kitchen. It really is an odd place, especially right next to the laid back albeit poor serviced Rock Fish Grill next door.
