Somewhere between a Wit, a Blonde, and a Belgian Golden, Intellectuale is an easy-going and tasty beer that stimul8s the mind, the body, and the soul. This clever brew has a light, crisp body with a genius amount of wheat. Mild fruit esters; smartly hopped. On a hot humid day or chill night, Intellectuale is always the intelligent choice.

It looks like a light beer, but tastes like an amber (which is normally my beer of choice). It didn't taste watery at all (which is one of my pet peeves). It wasn't to bitter either. Really solid beer.

On tap at 8th Wonder, deal was great (3 beers plus a glass for $15), loved the Hopston, but this beer is only pretty good. It is indeed pretty representative of the select styles but doesn't really mesh together all that well. Little bit of white foamy head, and a faint grainy wheat taste. Carbonation is kinda like a macro, but the taste is pretty decent. Kind of Kolsch-like, a little bit of very pale malt but mostly wheat grainyness. Doesn't necessarily match up to other similar ones, Versa Weisse by Karbach is quite a bit better IMO and I had this one on tap in the brewery as opposed to in a can in my hometown, but overall glad to give it a try and definitely making for a great time with its above average ABV. Cheers.
