Pours a dark brown, almost black, with fine head.
Smell is fruity with notes of coffee, chocolate and some spices, mainly cinnamon.
Taste us fruity and amlost juicy to start, then adds a quite a bit of coffee, spices and a hint of leather. Moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice brown ale, that's a little bit too thin.

This smells absolutely delicious, with delightful hoppy citrusy flavors and a nice cacao, toffee,and coffee aftertaste.
The taste is full of bitter chocolate-flavors and some acidic fruits. The hops become more emphasized as it lingers, but is not as present as in the nose. Carbonation is poignant, but brief and body light.
This is a fine beer, but it smells like a magnificent one.

The colour is dark red-brown (60 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger beige head sinks to a thick lid leaving some lacing.
The smell is fresh with hoppy bitter flavours: Grape fruit, bitter orange, lime peel. But there are also semi-sweet notes of chocolate, coffee candy, pumpernickel and ripe plums.
The taste is quite dry with reclusive bitterness. Quite a lot of chocolate and brown bread. Some citric fruits and herbal/spicy flavours. Medium body. Hints of alcohol in the aftertaste as well as bitter herbs, weak coffee, dark rye bread and cocoa. The finish is hoppy with floral notes.
The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is a bit dry.

Just another example of a more malt forward style being put completely out of balance by the collected venom of too many american hops.
