Very awesome place to see, done up real well, a must see!

This was another place that forgot to bring my souviner glass that I ordered, but other than that it was pretty good. Pretty good beer, and food was not bad at all, easy in easy out a must see place!

A solid place, and certainly a welcome addition to the relatively fallow resort strip along Scottsdale Road in North Scottsdale. We ducked in for a nice midweek lunch.

Nimbus is tucked in the elbow of a strip center, set back from the road. Plenty of outdoor seating (though understandably empty at 1pm on a 110 degree day) and inside a six or eight seat bar to the left, a medium sized dining room to the right.

The list of house beers was fine if rather old school brewpub (a red and a brown and a blonde and a pale, no IPA-even on National IPA day, no specialty seasonal). The oatmeal stout was pretty decent. A fair guest tap list rounded out the solid impression of ho humness.

Food was pretty good though. We both had nice salads, well made with fresh ingredients, portions were generous but not ridiculous.

Our lunch bartender was of the typical quality of lunch bartenders, modestly knowledgeable, moderately competent but godawfully loud. We might have left without eating if our stomachs were not rumbling.

I'll probably duck in again since I will be at a conference across the street next month, but only since it's so close.

Great happy hours here and plenty of guest taps if you don't like the Nimbus offerings. It was a bit frustrating that they use frozen glassware for high abv beers though, and certainly a rookie mistake that you wouldn't expect from a brewery's brewpub.

Food was better than average as far as brewpubs go, and some items quite good.

Atmosphere is a clean, more upscale than most brewpub sort of theme. Not too pretentious, but nice enough to make the riff-raff seem out of place that you get at some places in S.Scottsdale or Tempe.

A more refined and upscale version of the warehouse brewery down in Tucson that's in a rundown industrial area next to railroad tracks.

The crowd is a bit older because it's Old Town Scottsdale (or technically North Scottsdale? Where does Old Town officially end?)

Still a new place so service was great, food took a while to come out, and everything looked great. The patio is awesome. A great place to spend any amount of time when it's not hotter than 100 degrees. The bar is great with a garage door opening to the outside.

Pulled pork sandwich was outstanding. Fried jalapeno slices were delicious. Guest taps are fantastic with many West Coast IPA's. And their beer is phenomenal. One of the better Pale Ale's I've had in a long time.

A welcomed blue-collar establishment in a relatively upscale area. You must go here!
