22oz bottle, an almost expected follow-up now, to any sort of IPA from a So-Cal brewery, eh?

This beer pours a mostly clear, medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy off-white head, which leaves a bit of streaky and sudsy lace around the glass as it lazily subsides.

It smells of pungent white grapefruit flesh, some store brand grapefruit soda, grainy and crackery pale malt, and maybe a hint of leafy and/or piney green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and bready pale malt, saltine crackers, acerbic white grapefruit pith, other muddled citrus rind notes, a touch of earthy stoniness, and more plain leafy, grassy, and piney hoppiness.

The carbonation is quite solid in its supportive and sometimes playful frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and sort of smooth, if you're already acclimated to zingy citrus juice, that is. It finishes trending dry, the crackery malt and lingering complex (if a bit musty at times) grapefruit landing just so.

Overall, a pleasant and refreshing fruited-up sibling to the 'regular' Weekday session IPA - very enjoyable as the sun shines like it's freaking July already around here (not to mention the typical SUMMERTIME northern forest fire smoke wafting into town). Anyways, tasty, grapefruity, and not at all boozy, for all your daytime drinking needs!

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes with subtle grapefruit notes is OK. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops with some bitter grapefruit notes and light caramel malt. Body is about average with good carbonation. The grapefruit is not as dominant as I had expected and very middle of the road at the end of the day.

Bottle at The Brewer's Kettle, High Point, NC

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a short white head
S: Light aromas of grapefruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having light flavors of grapefruit pity and rind. There is only a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light to medium bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA isn't that bitter, but is easy to drink. It's not bad if you are a grapefruit fan.

Not a good looking beer, very little head, looks like a light beer. Great taste though, good mix of hops and hints of
Grapefruit

Looks nice enough, golden brew with white foam. Then the grapefruit aroma is the nicest thing about this beer. There is a grapefruit taste at the first sip, but then it just seems to get bitter .

There are some juicy notes and a hint of toast. But after some sipping all that's left is the pithy taste. Best to be sipped very slowly. I think this would overwhelm even nachos.

Pours a clear amber colur, with a small head hat fades soon, leaving a compact lace. Aroma of grapefruits and herbs. Medium body with an average carbonation, oily texture. Tas te grapefruits and herbs. Grapefruit is overwhelming, you can't notice almost anything else.

Tasty brew, the sour grapefruit is surprisingly present and pairs well with the sessionable IPA base brew. Hop presence is subdued but present nonetheless. I wouldn't be able to drink several of these in a session though.

picked up a bomber on a trip to San Diego... pours a nice copper color with a half inch head. strong grapefruit on the nose. Taste follows the nose with a reasonable amount of hop bitterness for a low ABV. Overall an easy drinking session IPA.
