Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.30%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
This is a true West Coast IPA–it is pale in color, with with bracing bitterness, high alcohol content (about 7.4% abv) and a fruity/floral/citrus hop aroma. It is made from a simple malt bill: North American base and pale caramel malt. We use copious amounts of Northwest hops (Summit, Columbus, Magnum and Zythos) all throughout the boil, with most of it going in within the last 15 minutes. After fermentation is complete, we dry hop it with approximately 1 boatload of each of the same hop varieties.

Not as good as a New Belgium IPA, but close. Easily the best Arizona IPA I've tasted so far, and I visit the Tucson area regularly.
If you are an IPA fan, this one will not disappoint, IMO

On tap in Westin downtown Pheonix. Hoppy initial taste and dry/bitter after taste. Very pleasant, see this a year round ipa

Poured out of 16 oz can into glass. Minimal head and lacing. Beautiful golden with hint of orange color. Smell was minimal for an IPA, not sure how to characterize, little pungent. Taste is dry, a bit bitter, with some hoppiness, but not clearly distinguishable to a flavor. Overalll, I enjoyed and would drink again, but doesn’t shine in all the IPA offerings out there today.

16oz can thanks to Rick. Medium golden with small foamy head.Mild but straight forward IPA, Hops first, nice malt backbone behind. Not one thing stands out, instead all of the parts just add up to a really well done whole.

Slightly hazy orange, copious lace in sheets.
Dank botanical aromas, caramel malt, huge citrus and cut flowers.
Firmly bitter with a dank Simcoe presence, botanicals, grapefruit peel, and earthy greens. Medium bodied and smooth, dry bitterness lingers.
Overall it’s a nice classic IPA, hits all the hallmarks.

16 ounce can dated 1/10/18. Not sure if that’s a canned or drink by date. Poured into tulip.
Pours a clear orange, rosy tinted beer. Clear is a change of pace recently. Soapy bubbled, 1/2 finger of head.
The nose is big time grassy and floral. The taste follows the noses lead. Cut grass, herbal notes, muted grapefruit. Grainy. No big dankness or citrus as stated on the can. Crisp, bright mouthfeel.
This beer is weird. Maybe it’s an old can? Drinks more like a pale ale.

Picked a 16 oz can at local Trader Joe’s... pours a deep gold/copper color, and has a heavy pine and citrus nose. This was a real treat, pine (dank, it says so on the can) hops, and citrus throughout. Bitter and balanced with some malt in the middle, this is a great IPA.
