This is a true West Coast IPA–it is pale in color, with with bracing bitterness, high alcohol content (about 7.4% abv) and a fruity/floral/citrus hop aroma. It is made from a simple malt bill: North American base and pale caramel malt. We use copious amounts of Northwest hops (Summit, Columbus, Magnum and Zythos) all throughout the boil, with most of it going in within the last 15 minutes. After fermentation is complete, we dry hop it with approximately 1 boatload of each of the same hop varieties.

Might be one of my favorite WCIPAs. Had for first time in Tucson. Really fruit forward with little of the bitterness found in IPAs of this style. Would seek out again.

Pours a beautiful copper color and is strikingly clear with a creamy white head that provides a substantial cap as you drink the beer and significant lacing. Absolutely gorgeous WCIPA.
The nose features some dank citrus (grapefruit rind and oranges), a lot of resiny pine, and earthy, herbal notes with some pepper (surprise!), and a bit of caramalt.
The taste is all the aforementioned notes mentioned on the nose, with the pepper taking more of a role at the back of the palate after the crushingly bitter citrus and pine up front. This is a delicious WCIPA.
The mouthfeel is full and very dry, pulling you back for another drink on repeat. This is a world class WCIPA, IMHO, and a brewery that I look forward to meeting again.

Had on tap. Clear bronze body, off white head, thick lacing. Pine, citrus, and earthy hops all star in the nose. Taste is much the same, clean classic west coast ipa with juicy and earthy hint mixed in, malt backbone is well balanced. This is true in the mouthfeel too with malt supporting the hops in simultaneously bright and bitter ways. One of the better ipas I had on the trip to phx

Coppery pour at a hotel bar in PHX, mostly clear body with an egg-shell colored cap of foam. Reminiscent of some NW IPA's with a decently aggressive mix of grapefruity and resinous hops and a strong-enough malt base to balance at times. Present bitterness in a nice, drying mouthfeel.

16oz can. Stamped on can bottom is 'CANNED 12/20/22 BEST BY 04/18/2023'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. One fat finger of white head, and this sticks around as a bubbly cap and ring. Leaves behind ring patterns of lacing.
Aroma is potent combo of malt, citrus, and pine.
Taste is a smooth but bitter hop expression. Good malt base with hop flavors that are floral, citrus orange and grapefruit, and pine resin. Early sweet burst is ultimately replaced by a lengthy bitterness. Turns earthy and herbal in the aftertaste.
Medium plus mouth feel, with some syrup texture. Very little hop burn but some tongue numbness. Excellent carbonation.
Classic West Coast IPA. Shows some balance and consistent brewing experience.

Perfect blend of bitterness and outdoor taste. Haven’t found a competitor.

Pours a translucent copper. Smells of resin, pine, and wort. Upon the tongue, this is an old school IPA. A few citrus notes, but definitely bitter; grass and pine needles. Hops hold steady, malts are held at bay, but come through some in the finish. Overall, a decent offering

16oz can served in a big snifter. My wife bought it in Arizona a couple weeks ago, and she says there was a relatively fresh date on the four pack she looked at. The can itself doesn't have obvious info: PATSCATS 142050 2842 22076. I would guess it was canned the 76th day of 2022, based on that last number sequence.
Pours a moderately hazy amber color with a medium sized head that fades into a few clumpy islands and an extremely fine ring. Smell is west coast hoppy -- resin, grapefruit, pine, but with a sweet honeysuckle note that stands out really clearly.
Taste is along the same lines. Clear west coast hoppy notes, maybe a little twist of bubble gum or melon, and the same honeysuckle sweetness that is almost turning woody. Strong bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and smooth. Overall, this is nice.

On tap at El Chinito Gordo. Served in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Clear gold-amber color, off white head that slowly died back to a thin skin. Persistent strands of lacing.
Smell: Citrus and pine, a little herbal as well.
Taste: Nicely hoppy, lots of pine and citrus notes. A little pungent at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, very sticky on the teeth, very light carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: This did indeed fit the style of an old-school west coast IPA. Potently hoppy and it paired very well with Chicken Mole. One per evening is enough though. Well done!

Crystal clear golden brew and has a good foamy head and good retention.
Citrus and also floral aromas.
Very pleasant bitterness as expected, grapefruit and orange rind and not sweet.
Minimal carbonation activity.
Nice aspects from the dry hop. I think the high alcohol is hidden which is good.
