12 oz bottle into Deschutes Pint Glass.
A hard center pour yields.........a mess all over my kitchen floor. Way overactive, and it flooded over my glass in about 1 second. Tried to catch it with my mouth but alas it wasn't enough, I was no match. After cleaning up the kitchen I saw the head settle down to a measely 6 fingers. Finally a few minutes later it's down to a 2 finger head and we can start the review. There is no cascading on this body, it's completely still. It's heavy in the browns, a touch of black, head is medium brown. Again, no visible nitro action here. Considering that repeat pours nearly spill over my glass, and there's no fun nitro visual gymnastics, just the annoyance of it, I have to give one of the lowest "look" scores I ever have done, a "2".
Aroma is of coffee, roasted malts, slight chocolate, cacao nibs, and a little bell pepper.
Flavor is green bell pepper, slight milk chocolate, slight cocoa nibs, burnt toast, slight milky sweetness but just enough to compliment, and roasted malts.
Feel is creamy and smooth, not really slick or anything, but has a low to medium carbonation which helps the imagination conjure up "slickness". Roasty finish with a little more smoothness.
Overall it's good, good to very good, but not sure I'd be investing in a 4 pack/6 pack/whatever with all the options out there. One of the nicest drinking stouts flavor-wise in WI.

An extra received in a trade, and one that has piqued my interest in 3 Sheeps. A somewhat aggressive pour didn't do too much with respect to the nitro, but no worries. This presents a fairly thin, but flavorful, low-octane coffee stout with high-quality coffee yielding some nice earthy, nutty notes. Certainly a quality roast, but not too heavy. Easy to drink.

Taste: chocolate malt, semi sweet, smooth, but subtle coffee finish, clean finish. Same with the nose.Black, opaque, with refine tan head and some lace. Medium body. Not much nitro fell out of this bottle.

Poured into a tulip glass from a 12 oz bottle. Starts off with no head, then a sort of upward cascading takes effect and the head grows to about 3/4 inch thick before dissipating to just the ring. Smell is strangely weak, as if it were really far away and not just beneath my nose. Taste and feel - maybe due to the nitro -- is a little like Guinness Draught, meaning a little thinner than I'd hoped. Almost like a brown ale with coffee, missing that grit and warmth. It drinks easily enough, and there are coffee elements to enjoy. Good impression, but not necessarily impressive.

12oz bottle, served in a willi becher glass. Pours a dark black body, opaque, one finger offwhite head, short retention and no lacing. Pretty much becomes quiescent right away. Smell is rich coffee bean, roast, light milk chocolate, a bit of earth and cream. Flavour follows with a smooth creamy roasty coffee bean flavour, light milk chocolate, touch of earth. Straight-forward beer, nice mouthfeel with a medium body, smooth creamy nitro, mildly earthy and roasty coffee finish on the backend, slightly bitter. Nice nitro mouthfeel on a coffee stout.
