i liked this place a lot, a bustling taproom, but sort of generic, if there werent high top tables, it might look like a waiting room at the chiropractors or something. sort of minimalist, low ceilings, no remarkable features at all really, but the energy is good and i find a seat at the bar in the back, with a view to the brewery there to my left. only one server to take care of the whole place and she absolutely killed it, knew almost everyone so this must be a local heavy spot, but she was attentive and friendly and somehow didnt seem overwhelmed at all, she ruled. they had a good amount of beers on, but a lot of them were fairly generic, you know, red, pale, brown etc. but i did find an enjoyable baltic porter, and also thought the red was very good. generally i look for a bit more innovation in a spot like this, but i get having to brew to what your regulars like to drink, and i thought the quality of the beers i did have was high. they had some cool food in here too, i had shishito peppers that were awesome, but everything coming out looked great. definitely worth a stop if you are in the area, its amazing that every little small town in colorado seems to have a brewery now. i had a good time in here and liked both beers i drank!

Vibe - quiet and fairly deserted for a Sunday at lunch. Tv’s and some light music, but other than that pretty uneventful. Bar at the back, with plenty of seating throughout and a small deck out front with extra seating. Middle of nowhere, but a nice view of the Rockies.
Quality - food and beer was pretty good. Typical pub fare, but they specialize in Detroit style pizza, which was great! The beers I had were really pretty good, I had the black ipa and the stout!
Service - good service, our waitress was helpful and prompt; though it was dead so she wasn’t at all busy.
Selection- a little for everyone, my wife didn’t see any style she liked on the menu, but the waitress informed her that they had some kind of fruity number that pleased her!
Overall - out of the way and not a real fun environment so I doubt I return. Food and beer were good, so if you find yourself in this part of the area, it’s worth checking out.

A small brewery in a small town produces big beers.
Try the Nocturne Black IIPA, and also the Pale Ale.
Friendly service...just a good place to drink craft brews.
