Got this in a trade.
Poured from a 12oz brown bottle into my Surly tulip. Off a semi-rigerous pour I get 1 inch of white cola like head. Receeding to a thin colar of retention and a few misc bubble islands.
Nice lace rings all the way down the glass.
This is a pretty light color for an ipa, its fair to call it pilsner like. A pale yellow with slight hints of orange, unfiltered look is all the colors have going for it.
The aroma holds some very mild grapefruit. The rest smells like dusty wood.
The taste is also lacking for an ipa. I wouldnt even call it an epa. There is very very little hop flavor. This is not like any ipa I've ever had and I've had alot of them.
Not digging the lack of hops here.
Starting out with alot of carbonation zing presenting some creamyness off the carbonation. But its pretty watered down.
Any hops that do come through are overtaken by wet cardboard at the swallow.
The finish is prodominatly wet cardboard and some mild hop bittering. I did not enjoy this brew.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a very nice clean/clear golden yellow color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with some citrus. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy. Medium body. Overall, a very tasty brew.

Crystal clear, amber/orange, fair amount of tiny bubbles rising, with a quickly vanishing finger of white foamy head. The aroma is a little floral, some caramel, and mild citrus and pine. Not a ton of anything on the nose. The flavor is mild, but pleasant. Nice building bitterness towards the back that lingers. The beer has a nice balance between sweet and bitter. The citrus and piney notes are in their but mild. Average carbonation, medium thin body, a little watery, no real lacing, refreshing. Good, laid back-starter IPA.

Yellow, gold, copper, its all in here, a darker color than expected for a 4% ipa. Hops imparted grapefruit.
The flavor was a little earthy, grassy, not hops that pop, but they also exist in the flavor profile, they aren't that understated. Still, this is far from a top tier session ipa. Weirdly comes across kinda malty, plenty of crystal in this one.
Its balanced. Not a bad type of gateway ipa for people, no off flavors.
