Dad just brought a 6 pack over so lets give it a go.

Appearance - Light orange/straw body with 2 fingers of white head, little lacing.

Smell - Hops and lots of grainy/grassy notes.

Taste - Bitter hops up front with an almost sour middle with the malts ending it clean.

Mouthfeel - Medium to light body, crisp and smooth with a slight dryness to it thats ignorable.

Overall - Not a bad IPA but not the best I've had either lacks that nice fruit taste that most others have. That said go grab one and see for yourself.

Poured into a glass, it produced a big, fluffy, three finger, white head. The beer color is a translucent medium gold.
The aroma was of honey, and a little citrus hop.
The taste was the same, but with the hops pushing through the honey sweetness more.
IPA's aren't my favorite style, but this one I liked. Probably because the sweetness hid some of the extra hop bitterness.

Pours fairly clear and golden, a tight finger high withe head. Tight singular ring forms after poor retention.

Little to no aroma coming off this beer, some honey dipped bready malt is quite plain with a slight green tea, grass and piney hop aroma.

Bready malt has a touch of honey sweetness. The hops are grassy with a mild orange citrus and general fruity esters. The black tea note on the finish indicates this might be past its prime. Quite bitter on the finish with a lasting pine burn.

Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Lasting bitterness that carries dank pine with some alcohol burn.

A disappointing IPA, quite drinkable but no aroma other than light malt and barely any hops. A huge tea flavor and bitterness but otherwise un-remarkable, more of a pale ale in flavor and build.

poured a nice darkish golden color that was clear with tiny bubbles rising to the top. The beer had a smallish white head that left little lacing. The first smell that hit me was floral hops, grapefruit peel, then pine and grass. Nice balance of malt to hops up front. Then the grapefruit, pine, grassy hops even more at the end. Mouthfeel is about right for the style. Overall a pretty good IPA even though this one had a born on date of 2-25-11

The second beer in the six pack is the IPA and I believe it was brewed in the old english traditional sense and not like a west coaster. The color is copper clear with nice white head. The scent is has a subtle hop character, but is missing pine and citrus. The taste is very bitter. Its starts very crisp with hops, but then tapers to sour and bitter aftertaste that clings to pallete. This, for me, would be a tough beer to session, one is enough. Its not a bad beer, but it's not great....worth a try though.

Threw this one in a mix sixer at Total Wine only later to realize the born on date of 06/20/11…dun dun DUN!!!

Well here goes - 12oz bottle to pint glass

A: Appearance is a fuzzy golden straw color. Nice creamy one and half fingers of white with some crusty specks of lace. Looks nice.

S: Still has a bit of piney aroma to it with some citrus peel mixed in there. A predominant bready English pale malty cracker character and some light ABV notes.

T: Flavors are still holding up with a bit of fruity and floral hops there. English pale malts are exhibited with a cracker like maltiness. Has a bit of tart mid palate and a grassy hay like note. Some light citrus fruits. Definite American hop influence. Moderate bitterness towards the back of the tongue. Slight metallic tinge – oxidation probably starting to set in.

M: Has a real nice creamy texture. Soft and fluffy on the palate. Lends to a lighter body with a nice dry crisp finish.

D: This was not half bad and I can’t believe how well it's holding up at about 9 months old. Real fruity for an "English style" IPA but a bit tart and staling at this point. Not outstanding but has drinkability potential.

Probably wouldn’t get again unless uber fresh. Would revisit if that opportunity presents itself.

Beer is a very pale olden color, slight haze, almost no head. Carbonation is okay.

Aroma is citrusy and slightly fruity. Very pleasant aroma, the hops are subtle, not right in your face. No malt aroma.

Tastes is bitter, hops linger on the tongue. Citrus and grapefruit, bitter hop bit at the end. Crisp, not too sweet but not dry either.

Medium Mouthfeel.

A well made beer. Nothing outstanding but it is still crisp and refreshing and the citrus comes through well.

Appearance: light copper, very clear, good long lasting carbonation

Smell: citrus, malt, light yeast

Taste: very Bitter up front with some underlying malt, dry finish

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, long lasting head

Drinkability: Drinkable, bitter slightly cloying hops are dominating here. Nothing memorable but I would drink again if the options were limited.

A: thin head on a hazy golden with amber hues body.

S: grapefruit, candied oranges, nice malt presence and herbal hops.

T: Flavor is less appealing than the complex aroma. decent amount of maltiness. Hops mostly provide floral and fruit, mostly grapefruit, notes which sour up the middle. Fairly sweet and fruity finish.

M: medium body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: A nicely drinkable IPA with a nicely complex aroma however a not so memorable flavor.

M - medium body, not much to talk about

D - not the best IPA i have had, but not the worse either. it is very drinkable.

a better than average ipa, this is well made but a little generic on the flavor profile. the pours is a nice bronzed golden color, mostly clear, with several inches of airy white head. the nose is hoppy and bitter, but mellowed by an English malt profile that puts in a touch of caramel sweetness and color. the hops have somewhat of a tropical fruit profile, with pineapple rings and dried mango coming to mind, but there is much sweetness and in the end the bitterness washes away the fruit. good medium body on this from good use of grain, this is a good all season ipa as a result. the flavor isn't particularly interesting overall, but it is satisfying and it fits the ipa genre well. I would like to see some more interesting hop variety here, dry hop this with sorachi or something and now then we will talk! fine carbonation and easy enough to drink. a B to B+ beer overall.

it poured a golden yellow beer. It had a nice average white head. Clarity was good. I smelled lots of grapefruit, citrus, malt, bitter hops. I tasted bitter hops, slight grapefruit, more floral than expected. It was light in body. very crisp. Overall I thought it was a nice IPA not too much overwhelming bitter hops like some IPAs have.

Poured into a pint glass. Pours clear copper with a white head that dissipates slowly. Lacing is left on the side of the glass as the head dissipates. Plenty of tiny bubbles can be seen rising from the bottom of the glass. The smell is dominated by grassy and floral hops. There is some malt in the aroma as well. Juicy, spicy hops hit the mouth up front and the hop bitterness comes in the back end. There is a good malt backbone to this beer and the citrus flavors shine. The body is light to medium with adequate carbonation. The drinkability is high. Overall, this is a solid, well balanced IPA. It's definitely worth trying if you can find it.
