Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a hazed orange amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retension slowly fading over time to leave a little bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma of the beer is big of sweet tangerine and mango smell mixed with a decent hit of a Ruby red grapefruit and some sour lemon. Along with these aromas comes a touch of pine and a hint of caramel and dough.
Taste- The taste begins with a very strong showing of a nice bitter and lightly sweetened Ruby red grapefruit juice flavor. These tastes create a base flavor for the brew, and persist throughout. Later in the taste some sweetness of mango and pineapple join the tangerine. While the grapefruit hop is the top at the front of the taste, it soon mixed with a decent bit of resinous pine and a touch of earthy hop at the end of the taste and leave one with a nice dank, slightly bitting, but rather bitter and clean taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is medium to slightly thicker in body with a carbonation level that is average. For the mix of bitter grapefruit and dankness, mixed with the light sweetness the feel is great and makes for a very flavorful sipper.
Overall - A tasty rather grapefruit and resinous brew with a nice sipping feel. A nice brew overall!!

Probably the best texas brewed DIPA I've had. Extremely reminiscent of Sixpoint Resin not that thats a bad thing. Comes off a little dryer on the finish than resin but has a better mouthfeel. Tad bit of booziness on the backend but well in check at 9+%. A solid beer.

Pour: amber-yellow pour
Smell: citrus, hoppy - not very aromatic, but doesnt smell bad by any means
Taste: smooth drink, hoppy, but no hoppy bite that I usually expect for ipas.

Not bad by any means. Not very aromatic. Not hoppy, not juicy, not overly citrus-y, all of which I would look for with ipas, but then again I don't drink ipas so take this with a big grain of salt!

If I got an IPA, this would we one of the them, but not at the top of the list of all I have had.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. A beautiful foamy head and nice lacing atop a golden yellow body. Fruity smell and taste., orange and vanilla. Very smooth feel.
