On draft at the SLC airport.
Appearance: Looks like polished copper with a cap of tight, little nitro bubbles.
Smell: It smells like walking through a neighborhood that has a bakery somewhere; you can smell the bread baking off in the distance, but it’s difficult to pinpoint.
Taste: Grainy, bready, and clean.
Mouthfeel: Liquid velvet.
Overall: Beautiful cream ale that should probably never be served on traditional beer gas. The nitro is just too good to it.

05/12/09- On tap at the Wasatch Brew Pub in Park City, UT.

Presentation- 7oz sampler via the nitro tap.

Appearance- Clouded dull golden colored pour. Nice 1/2 inch nitro cream head that leaves nice lace patchwork.

Smell- Not really much of a scent. Some light malt and thats about it. Not bad, but nothing stands out.

Taste- Wonderful creamy golden ale flavor. Lots of light malt with a honey like flavor. Very lightly hopped, but all the flavors work together nicely.

Mouthfeel- Super creamy feel with a super light carbonation level. Quite thick feeling.

Drinkability- Really wanted to get a growler of this, but for obvious reasons, it wouldn't fly. Great session beer if I had more time.

A good beer.
Appearance: A nice golden color that is slightly cloudy. Had a nice head formation.
Smell: Had a very mild hops flavor and slightly malty,
Taste: Excellent taste that really highlights the different ingredients of the beer. There is also a pleasant yeasty flavor.
Mouthfeel: I loved the mouthfeel of this beer. There is a great balance between thickness as well as smoothness. There was also a nice level of carbonation that made the beer very nice.
Drinkability: The beer is slightly heavy that made it nice, but it would be hard to drink more than two.
Overall a very nice beer that really highlights the different qualities of a nice cream ale.

A: Deep, clear golden color. Poured a 2 finger creamy white head with good retention. Thin, even coating of almost a paint-like lace.

S: Bready grains and citrus. Had a slight grassy smell as it warmed.

T: Doughy, fairly sweet malt. Mild bitter to bring it all into balance.

M: Full body. Nicely balance carbonation. Very smooth and silky.

D: This beer really grew on me and would be very sessionable without being boring.

absolutely not retired, as far as I know this has always been happening. was on at Wasatch park city this weekend. the pour is dead sexy, big white thick fluffy nitro head resting on a creamy golden to brass colored body, nice and clear and rich looking. the nose is pretty mild, light malt and nitro creaminess. not much else to speak of really. the flavor is light, and English mild in flavor profile, with an absolutely fantastic mouthfeel. slightly bitter in the finish, slightly grassy on the hop front, balanced and sessionable forever. fuller body and round feel from the nitro, clean, smooth, and barely bitter finish. its a little filling, but I could drink a ton of these. one of the easiest drinking beers ive had in ages, just one after the other all day long. overall a well made beer in a style that I find very well suited to the 4% abv draft laws in Utah. you don't miss anything in this beer, its just right. id like to see more of these around.

Appearance: Pours a pale gold/straw color with about a finger of white head. Great retention and good lacing.

Smell: Graininess and some pale malt character, light floral and herbal hops. Nothing real distinguishable.

Taste: Flavor is blah. Light graininess followed by nearly indistinguishable hops.

Mouthfeel/Overall: This beer is just under medium bodied and very creamy. Good here. I had slightly higher hopes for this beer. I was pretty unimpressed and wouldn't have this particular Squatters beer again.
