Pored from 12oz bottle(room temp) a nice cloudy light gold with a huge head of foam that sharnk slowly leaving a solid layer with some lacing hugging the side of my glass.

The smell is big on the apricot, which I like, and has some sweet malt in there as well as a touch of sourness.

The taste is very apricot but it's not over done. It has a nice bit of sweetness with the tanginess that you expect from this fruit and makes for a pretty darned good fruit beer. I like this one. And at 4%abv(on the label) it went down very easy. I could drink quite a few of these at one session!

Bottom line: A low alcohol brew that literally yells out...I'm a sesssion brew! I recommend it.
Thanks to Wasatch for giving me a chance to taste this tasty beer!

Definitely biased here, but its my go-to local brew that is more widely available.

Pours a cloudy/opaque peachy yellow with a thin bright white head

Strong apricot and sweet aroma

Fruity apricot, bright, and subtle wheat and very subtle hop

Light and wicked crushable

12 oz can, enjoy by 10/14/21. Pours clear light gold with a medium white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet apricot and wheat.

The flavor is wheat malt with a lot of apricot. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK fruit beer.

This beer has a problem. It is mislabled.

Judged as a hefeweizen, it falls flat. It just isn't to style.

But judged as a fruit ale, it is enjoyable, even delightful. Succulent, juicy, full of Apricot flavor. It reminds me of Pyramid Apricot but with a slight bit of spiciness. Besides the apricots, I'm also picking up other tropical fruit (especially pineapple), maybe a slight zip of ginger. Appropriately sweet but not cloying.

I would get this one again.

Very hazed up light gold, smells like a mango candle. Taste is for better-or-worse a big blast of apricot flavor. Up front it's wheaty, no real hefeweizen flavor besides the apparent yeast and wheat... no bubblegum or pepper or anything fancy, just straight apricot cologne

Scrappy notes from 2005.
With a slightly pale gold look and a white head this is a fairly aromatic beer with lots of apricot, malt, banana and a tad bit of yeast to it's smell. It is fresh and crisp tasting but doesn't have a hefeweizen approach like I thought it would. Nevertheless it is very tasty, a bit sweet, sharp fast apricot flavor and is smooth drinking.

not sure this one really delivers on the "hefe" label, but it is a pleasant apricot display with an easy feel to it and nice malty backbone to deliver the fruity goods. it runs smooth and finishes dry and slightly tart. there's a tad of yeast character that manages to shine thru, hinting at the label's claim of hefe-tude, but is ultimately not a hefe in the traditional sense. it's an easy brew though, and one that is well made at every turn, it's just not aiming towards greatness, and is really just a fruited ale with hefe inspirations. that apricot sure is nice on a warm day, though

Poured from a can. Orangish to golden in color with a white head. Smells of bread, apricot and a hint a sour. Flavor of apricot really stands out, that it's a hefeweizen is hidden by this fact. Hints of it being a hefe are there but not much. Not terrible but not great

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is best by date of '10/24/21'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head, reduces down to a partial cap. Leaves spots of lacing.
Aroma is big with the apricot, along with wheat malt. Faint banana and cloves.
Taste is dry wheat malted ale, with a smidgen of yeast esters (banana and cloves). The biggest flavor is the added apricot, which tastes natural enough.
Less than medium mouth feel. Very minimal tartness. Very good carbonation.
Brewed for summer refreshment.

This beer has a pale golden-yellow body with visibly active carbonation and a thin white head. The aroma of apricots is about as strong as it can get without making you question if it’s natural or artificial. It is very light and easy to drink, with a delicious aura of apricots that lingers for a little while.

A: Pours a clear pale to medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow + orange + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of apricot stone fruit over the top of light to moderate aromas of wheat malts with light aromas of banana + clove yeast.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of wheat malts with a light amount of sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of banana + clove from the yeast. Finally there are moderate flavors of slightly sweet apricot stone fruit. Finish is relatively clean.

M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with really nice apricot flavors over a decent base hefeweizen. I could easily have a couple of these.

Can looks cool and says clearly 4.8% ALC. BY VOL. not the 4% listed in the beer description here. Light haze to a golden colored beer. Thick spongy two and a half finger of head white in color. Beer is really pretty clear for an unfiltered beer. Swish and pour of the last bits in the can really hazed things up!

Smell is refreshing like walking through an orchard or a barn filled with apricots and peaches. A hint of tart sugar comes out. A bit of biscuit like malts, maybe Hawaiian bread biscuits.

Taste is a bit like flat apricot flavor with some peach sneaking in. Very white bread like presence fills the mouth. Taste is on the sweet side.

Mouth feel is light medium. Seems to fill the palate mid mouth. As it drops off the finish comes out smooth. The beer does seem to have a flat characteristic to it.

Overall this is a good beer. The appearance and smell were very pleasant. The taste is nice while a bit sweet and flat like it has no liveliness. The mouth feel is a bit thick and with that flatness a bit off putting. And also have to mention the sweetness because it is there and a bit strong on the sugar cube scale. Yet for that it is a good beer for the style and may be the one for you. So try it if it sounds O.K. to you.
