The local is easy to spot because of the crowded (and smoky) street side patio.

Thankfully smoke free inside. There is a small lounge area to your right and then a cement top curved bar that seats about 12. A couple of small tables to your left and then one of my Favorite features a long community table that must seat about 20. There is also a dining room in the basement.

High ceiling and an exposed brick wall add to the atmosphere. Lots of TVs so it’s a good place to catch a game.

They offer 6 taps, 4 are from Ghost River and then seasonal offerings from SA and New Belgium. Also offer about 15 bottles and cans which 4 or so are decent. I would like to see a little wider variety, but in talking to some of the patrons, it sounds like they are slowly expanding their offerings. Good for them! I liked the $3 pints during happy hour!

Food menu is extensive and offers some unique choices (smoked crab deviled eggs, wild boar sausage, goat cheese manicotti). My braised short rib tacos were decent but not earth shattering. Food prices are a bit on the high side IMO.

I liked the tunes, Grateful Dead, the Band, Steve Miller, Little Feat, etc.

Service was southern friendly. I can recommend a stop on your next trip to Memphis.

We had lunch here on our visit to Memphis. The atmosphere was really nice. Upscale sports bar. I loved the small water glasses and bottle of water left on table. Service was friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed visiting with our waiter. While the selection of beer was limited it was a very interesting selection. Kegs rotate often. My husband has a Wiseacre IPA which he enjoyed.
Only suggestion I would have would be to use baby kale in their kale salad which was very good. Baby kale would make it even better. Value was reasonable.

I had missed this on the way down, so I needed to hit it up on the way back up to chicago. I had spied the Duck Quesadilla from their menu online and promptly ordered it. The quesadilla was exactly what I needed. The duck was delicious and pretty filling.

The beer list was small, but concentrated on southern brews. They had a few macro beers, but also had some nice featured bottles from around the country as well.

The service was very nice and easy to get a hold of. I really enjoyed it here and really dug the vibe. It was a sunday night, so there weren't that many people as expected, but very laid back.
