12 oz can. Pours ruby red copper amber with a medium creamy off white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is toasted malts with some sweet sugary fruit.

The flavor is sweet fruity toasted malts with a dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a sweet fruity oktoberfest.

Amber in color with a slight bit of light seeping through. There's a fingernail of tan around the rim and covering the majority of the top. Aroma is of sourdough bread and light malt. The taste is somewhat in line with the aroma. I get less than anticipated (after the intensity of the aroma) of sourdough bread malty flavor. The mouth is very light, smooth, and highly quaffable.

these guys have improved, and this fall seasonal is pretty right on the mark. its copper color and white head with good retention help it look the part, while healty german malt and patient lagering have built a pretty impressive specimen for a brewery i have yet to be real impressed by. great tinny copper malt front end, german, not caramel overload or too sweet. dry from the lager yeast, i think the recipe and execution here are some of the best big choice has put out. i like how easy drinking it is, clean finishing too. i hate the lingering unfermented wort sweetness that sometimes sticks around in this style, but this one is tidy on the swallow. medium body, very autumn, well done.

A: Hazy caramel orange color with a huge white head. Lots of lacing on the glass.

S: Very slight bread with some earthy hops in there as well.

T: A caramel taste is backed up with a bready, smooth malt character. Finishes crisp and hoppy, making this insanely balanced.

M: Holy drinkability! It's medium bodied at most with just enough carbonation. It's a bit 'watery' in texture.

O: I finished my first glass accidentally while reviewing this beer, which is a testament to it's insane drinkability. Perfectly balanced, beautiful beer from a brewery I had yet to be impressed by. While I wouldn't call this a traditional example of an oktoberfest, it's pretty close and really great anyways. Seek this out!
