On tap, poured into a stemmed tulip. The aroma is overall very mild, with notes of soapy with a damp funk and a light lemon and bread dough poking through. The beer is clear with a brilliant yellow hue and a white, soap suds head, and a wispy surface with decent retain and decent lace. The taste is a medium bitter and medium light sweet. The texture is slick and thin with a sprtizy carbonation and a medium light body that has the flavor of under ripe peaches and citrus with a grain like quality to the crisp finish that contains peppery notes. Overall it's clean with a long, fresh aftertaste that has mild, bitter grapefruit rind and herb.

its good beer, but it doesnt taste, look, or feel much like a saison. more of a belgian pale to me, its really hoppy and the yeast just isnt there on the saison side, although again, the beer as a beer is very good. its mostly clear, thin caramel in color with a dense and tall tan head. it smells like hops first to me, without any of the saison yeast characteristics coming through. the hops are nice though, clean and fresh. hoppy taste too, maybe a little bit of a belgian yeast thing happening, but its not like saison. its clearish and clean, winey almost, with a lot of hops all the way through it. the bitterness level is mid range, but the oil of the hops stick around longer than they ever have in any beer called a saison that i have consumed. i like the beer, its awfully flavorful for its low abv, but for the style it claims to be, its missing some key elements.
