Saw this place while driving down the main drag in Destin...sounded like a good place to get a good beer. Nah. Though they had an impressive amount of taps across two bars, each bar was merely a mirror of the other, offering no differing selections from each other. Lame. The selection and quality of the beer offered was disappointing too. I'd say 20 of the taps were a range from Budweiser, to Blue Moon, to Miller High life and merely every other macro made beer in between. There were only a few things that branched from macros...Rogue Dead Guy, Widmer Drifter, Boston Lager, and maybe an Abita amber...and none of these make the trip worth it. Atmosphere was okay...open aired, nice for a beach town, but nothing special about the place. It wasn't crowded in the least, but service was ridiculously sluggish and the food was average...at best. For what you get, I feel that it wasn't a good value.

In summation, don't let the Ale House moniker fool you...
