Societe Brewing Co.
San Diego, CA

A gorgeous IPA. Clear golden rod. Moderately-sized near-white head of small bubbles. Fairly retentive. Nice stickiness throughout. Very pretty. Very appropriate. Very welcoming. This may be slightly lighter in color than Mosaic, but that could also just be my terrible memory playing tricks on me. Regardless, this is an exceptionally pretty IPA.

Not a particularly expressive aroma, unlike most of Societe's hoppy offerings. Some mild citrus and pine is what I'm picking up initially. There's a little bit of pale and cracker malt character as well, but there isn't a ton here, strangely. As the beer warms, more and more juicy citrus emerges and becomes quite nice.

Moderate bitterness and juicy citrus combine quite nicely. Very well balanced with a clean, crisp, cracker malt balance. Crisp, discernible flavors. Some grapefruit flesh and zest flavors emerge as the beers warms and lingers on the finish.

Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Quite appropriate.

Very tasty, though not one of the best Bachelor's. Regardless, this is a very tasty IPA.

Single hop Bachelor pour at the source in San Diego. Pours a light yellow color with good clarity and a soft 1/2" white head. Aroma wasn't aromatic, this is not an aroma hop I would say. Its similar to a mild Cascade with its grapefruit and pine notes that are pretty feint by San Diego/Societe standards.

Usual lightly pale toasted malt base, out of the way and dry west coast stuff there, moderate to high carbonation, grassy grapefruit feels. Its good, but its not Societe level good. Since this is Societe, an elite hoppy beer creator, I'm thinking that this is about as good as it can get with this Moteuka hop. I guess its a bittering hop by default, because it isn't an aroma one.
