I randomly thought of this beer while watching Mad Max for the first time (which sucks, btw). I bet that's never happened before. I used to buy this stuff when I was 18 in '98. At first I thought it was delicious but that faded fast. One was ok but not more than two or three. I did like the citrus flavor though.

Wonderful summer and session beer for me. I really wish AB would bring it back. Look/color was average. Smell was rather lagerish. But the flavor was sweetish, not like todaze sugar malt Koolaid beers, but Tequiza was more towards a true lager. Tequiza had it's own special flavor. I used to drink it every day when not drinking something more exotic like KBS, 120 minute, or My beloved Behemoth Barley wine.
Anyhow, AB replaced with Bud Lite with lime, which is more like drinking urine...I know you guyz mostly hate it, but I would kill to have a few six packs nestled in with my exotic crafts.

Wow, does this look not appealing. Urine yellow beer that produces no head or anything. Aroma was like corn syrup.
Taste was sweet. Corona and sugar. Nothing tequila like really. I guess that is agave? Is there lime in this too? The carbonation game is strong here, combined with the sweetness, this is definitely malternative territory. This is like soda. Soda Tequiza. Would bang again just to say I did, but other than that, super pass.

This was something of a novelty when it first came out. I enjoyed the first beer but subsequent beers I enjoyed less and less. It did have a tequila aftertaste, probably artificial but the uniqueness wore off quickly.

Rating from memory. Sweet & smooth with sessionable drinkability especially in the summer. I would love to see this come back and re rate.
