Presentation: 12oz can. Stamped born on date. States to be "Born of Natural Ingredients, Smooth, Refreshing Beer" ... "Brewed from water, barley malt, cereal grain, hops and yeast." It does not say natural ingredients only does it?

Appearance: Perhaps the lightest colour beer out there, translucent pale yellow. Thin white lace is what is leftover of the quick foaming head.

Smell: Vague cooked corn, very clean aroma so clean that you can't smell anything else. So clean you can smell the alcohol in this beer.

Taste: Incredibly light body, well manufactured smoothness and a well placed crispness that makes this brew a bit refreshing. Very thin malt flavour, cereal grains are abundant in the flavour but stay clean. Hops seem processed, a lazy bitterness that barely tweaks the scales of taste threshold. Some astringent grain tell you that this brew is quick from start to finish ... by the time you think of swallowing the taste is gone leaving a dryish end.

Notes: Light beer = less calories = less flavour. Why drink beer with less flavour, how much fun is it to eat a diet meal that tastes like nothing?

Busch Light has a very thick, white, quickly-dissipating head and a clear, straw appearance with lots of active carbonation. The aroma is sweet, beer-oriented, and mild. Taste is also a mild, sweet, beery, grainy flavor, with a slight hop spiciness making an appearance. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Busch Light finishes crisp, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, for a light beer, this one is okay.

Tastes like light vomit in a can. Seriously, I am not sure how people drink this stuff. There is nothing pleasant here.

Thanks (I think?) to a great Town of Esopus recycler, who shall remain nameless, for tipping Brian and I of a case of these 16 oz. cans.

A sickly, pale, light straw, topped by a half hearted off white head, which fades quickly, and, with its absence, leaves the pilsner glass appearing to hold the carbonated urine specimen of a terminally ill diabetic.

Smell is an almost non existent aroma of corn and sugar, as lacking in bouquet as the Gobi desert is lacking in rainforest. What smell there is reminds me of bus station bathrooms.

The taste of this is an undersexed, deformed, stunted, alien facsimile of what real beer tastes like. I'd like to describe the malt bill, but there isn't one, or the hop profile, but I think they didn't use hops in this recipe. I mean it, none. I get a very light artificial tasting graininess, and a sort of watery, fizzy thing going on, like someone tried to make beer-flavored soda and only put a quarter of the proper amount of artificial ingredients into the mix.

What is the use of justifying a score for mouthfeel for a beer better suited to use as slug trap than for enjoyment.

Drinkability is... well I just poured the rest of this vile substance down the drain.

This is the first time I have gotten something for free and ended up feeling I overpaid.

A - Very pale straw color with a quickly disappearing white head.

S - Light smelling beer, typical lager.

T - Great light taste

M - Light on the tongue. Quite a bit of carbonation.

D - I think this beer is great if you want to drink 20 in an evening. This is a very easy to drink beer and if you're going for volume, the price is right too!

Being in college I end up drinking a lot of light beers due to the cheaper price, and this one is pretty solid considering the price, and due to the fact that you have to rate it as it is, which is a cheap light lager. It goes down smooth and has a sweet corn smell with a typical light beer taste with a somewhat unpleasant sweet aftertaste, regardless it's a nice cheap beer to drink.

There's worse out there. Anyway, while I prefer a darker bodied bolder brew, I grew up drinking "cheap, red neck piss beer". IE Pabst Blue Ribon, Old Milwaukee light/Best, Coors light etc. Whatever I could steel from Grandma's fridge. Anyway, as cheap light beer goes Busch Light and Miller Light are about as good as it gets. I've been drinking this a couple of weeks because my Father in Law's been at the house more often and I try keep something around that he can drink for health reasons. (He's to avoid carbs) and it's grown on me a bit. Like I said there's a lot worse out there.

Listen here nerds, we all know a beer sold at 66 cents a can isn't the most top shelf beer out there. Fun fact, the year was 1992, somewhere in the vicinity of West Point, Iowa. A child was born and that child was me, raised knowing two things, THE Iowa Hawkeyes are the best team in college sports regardless of record and that hard working men and women and the Great State of Iowa run on Busch Light. We don't need some hipster, IPA drinking, still on the tit, snot nosed vaper to tell us that this beer isn't as good as other beers. We already know and we don't care. God Bless Iowa and God Bless America.

Like most light beers, it taste's like a watered-down version of the original. Good for parties, etc. though. I remember during the draft beer craze, this was available in a "draft" version as well.

This beer is, inexplicable, a regional favorite where I live, and it pains me that this is such a go to. Upsetting carbonation, utter lack of distinguishable care as far as mouthfeel is concerned, and just tastes like if you left water on the windowsill and it somehow went bad.

Nectar of the Gods. Would never talk bad about God’s gift to man. Hands down the greatest beer ever brewed. Better than any of those garbage Craft Beers or any of them expensive draft beers. Busch Light is an absolute steal at under $20 for a 30 pack. High quality beer, would be willing to pay double for the Nectar if the Gods.

Urine complexion with a quickly disappearing head. Smell is negligible. This is not a beer to sip and enjoy, it is a beer to guzzle because it is easy to drink. The advertising seems to focus on how to enjoy it "Mountain Stream Cold", to the point of having color changing dye on the packaging to let you know when it's "cold enough". It's not bad advice, though. Busch Light is better cold. Very cold. It reduces the impact of the corny sweet taste and for a brief moment might taste like beer or at least some corn that was washed in a cold mountain stream for a moment.

If you like interesting, well crafted, tasty beer this is not the beer for you. But if you want to drink 18 of something as cheaply as you can Busch Light is the perfect beverage. I don't find the taste offensive. I just don't find the taste appealing. It's just there. And you can have 18 of them for $10. That's the only real selling point I can think of. Chug chug chug.

This is not a craft.. For a light beer, and price the taste is not bad. I like it. Crisp and light beer. You can get buzz half the price of miller light and coors light. This is a good beer on budget. Nothing offensive about it All lithe beer drinkers should try it would save you some money.

Busch Light has good bang for your buck. Cheaper than Bud, Miller and Coors (lights) and I can't notice much of a difference in taste quality. Far better than Keystone or Natty for only a few dollars more.
With this in mind, this beer has almost no body. Head disappears almost instantly and is overall very watery. Quenches thirst well but one beer won't leave you satisfied whatsoever.
Pick up a case of if you're hosting the bros for poker night and you're on a budget.

Crisp, light, refreshing, smooth. Must drink this at tooth cracking cold temperatures. I only rate this high because it is my cheap go to beer. By far my favorite light beer. And for $17.92 a dirty thirty, well, you can't beat that. Maybe it is just the Wisconsin in me.

Take every beer you've ever sampled, sober or buzzed, and it smells like their feet. The police (wife) seems to think it's hilarious to have a nose full of this ass.

The odor has penetrated the sober people. They are running for their lives. I have been designated responsible for the well being of anyone able to comprehend this.

The fortification is getting crucified. There are just too many of them. We will shortly be overrun by an existence responsible for nose boogers. The boogers invade the finger, then, soon the brain.

DON'T be a booger Busch!

I have been on a macro kick and this one has fond memories from two plus decades ago. I have a close buddy I used to drink this with and he still swears by it.

Looks like super pale ginger ale,, but comparatively flat. Almost no nose, even for light beer. Delivers muted malt and a whiff of hops. It is quaff-able and very cheap. Sometimes you can go home. You want to pound, it's not too bad.

Pours with a bit of color and leaves the tiniest white head. Smells like weak amount of grain--a covered silo from a few miles away. Tastes like a bit of grain but mostly husk. Flavor is almost immediately washed away by the excess carbonation. It's like they don't want you to taste it. Unusual. Drinks like carbonated water with some cardboard and old rice.

One of my favorites! Really good looking with the new cans that came out last year. Reminds me of all of the good times with my friends in college. Still with a great taste. However, it is not pleasant smelling. Still a 5 in my book. A true classic.

12oz can BB 7/4/17 poured into a vintage Busch glass at fridge temp 4.1% ABV. The beer is bright and gold in color. The white head is very short lived and there is no lacing. There is very little aroma, just some faint grain and sweetness. Taste is limited as well. Seriously, I can't pinpoint a stand alone flavor. Mouthfeel is thin with sharp carbonation and a slightly oily finish that stops this from finishing dry. Overall, ok, if you're looking for lawn mower beer. I prefer AAL that have no advertising budget hoping just a few more dollars get spent on quality ingredients.

Serving Type - In a can, the way high quality easy drinking all American beer should be.

Appearance - Golden yellow similar to the nectar of the gods. As with other things a little head before you get to the good stuff.

Smell - It's the smell of a summer day hanging with your buddies kicking back and having a good time 30 beers at a time.

Taste - Smooth and crisp easy drinking. Let's be honest we drink it to get drunk and it goes down nice and smooth. If I was drinking for taste, I would have a fruit umbrella drink.

This is a great all around beer. No matter what you are doing from working on the car to hanging with friends its the right beer.

Nothing beats a cold Busch Light on a hot day...except maybe a warm Busch light in Death Valley.

I'm not particularly fond of light beers, but sometimes I just want something smooth and refreshing, so judging this against other light beers, it has a crisp, clean taste, is very drinkable, and is not offensive in any way. I do have to wonder what other reviewers are comparing it to when rating it so low. It is not a flavorful craft beer nor is it intended to be. I will probably keep a few in my fridge for when I am thirsty and want something light and refreshing on a hot summer day.

There is nothing wrong with this beer on a hot day, I actually tend to reach for it. A thick, chocolately stout type beer has no place in that kind of situation. Even just relaxing at home or with any given bread-based meal, this beer does with it perfectly. I'm giving this review a higher rating for the reason that it is actually one of the better tasting light beers I have tasted, and I have tried many. For the category (Canadian Light Lager), this beer deserves more respect than it gets in my opinion. True, it is like a fizzy water, but when cold...you'd be hard pressed to find a beer that is more satisfying to quench your thirst.

25 ounce can into lager glass, best before 6/25/2018. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.1%. Overall this is a very solid pale adjunct lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pale malt/corn flavors, and light earthy hop balance. Not too heavy on the corn, with nice barley presence. An enjoyable and well made offering. Tastes identical to regular Busch. 0.2% less alcohol isn't making a noticeable difference to me.
