Notes: Busch and Busch Light are both brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn to provide a pleasant balanced flavor. Additionally, Busch Light undergoes a longer brewing process that produces a lighter body and fewer calories.

What can I say. I like Busch Light. Goes down smooth and is very refreshing after hot days of yard work. Very crushable and you won’t feel full afterwards. Cheers.

Finally tried this beer during a day at the pool. I consumed 2 of them. There is not much to say about the appearance and aroma -- if you have seen a light beer, you know how this smells and what it looks like. The mouthfeel is super light and there is just a bit of malt sweetness. There is just not much going on at all. It is not offensive, just very lacking. The redeeming quality of it was the light body went down well on a very warm day outside.

Drank from a 12 ounce can. Ratings are based on the style.

Look - The logo is respectable, and the mountain backdrop for everything is fairly pleasing. A good looking can.

Smell - Like a river. Dirty water, plants, fish.

Taste - Sickly sweet, very watery. Tastes like the mountain stream pictured on the can. Doesn't linger in the least bit, the taste disappears instantly.

Feel - Paper thin body with a sparkly carbonation. Like drinking La Croix or similar.

Overall - Don't fall for the siren song of the appealing packaging, this is a real waste of a "beer." If this was my only exposure to beer, I would hate beer.

One finger white, fuzzy head. Dissipates quickly. Straw body, crystal clear, lots of bubbles.
Grainy nose. Corn, white rice, very faint malts.
Hints of beer in the flavor. Slight malts and even less hops.
Grainy and prickly mouth feel from the high carbonation. Extremely light mouth feel.

This beer is so light taste-wise I'm not sure how anyone could really be offended by it, aside from ones sensibilities. I have had worse craft beers.

Light clear yellow. Head white and soda pop like. It disappears quickly. Tons of bubbles that you can hear popping.
The Smell is very metallic and not much else.
Again metallic tasting but not as offensive as I thought.
Easy drinking. It has a mineral water like mouthfeel.

Urine complexion with a quickly disappearing head. Smell is negligible. This is not a beer to sip and enjoy, it is a beer to guzzle because it is easy to drink. The advertising seems to focus on how to enjoy it "Mountain Stream Cold", to the point of having color changing dye on the packaging to let you know when it's "cold enough". It's not bad advice, though. Busch Light is better cold. Very cold. It reduces the impact of the corny sweet taste and for a brief moment might taste like beer or at least some corn that was washed in a cold mountain stream for a moment.

If you like interesting, well crafted, tasty beer this is not the beer for you. But if you want to drink 18 of something as cheaply as you can Busch Light is the perfect beverage. I don't find the taste offensive. I just don't find the taste appealing. It's just there. And you can have 18 of them for $10. That's the only real selling point I can think of. Chug chug chug.

25 ounce can into lager glass, best before 6/25/2018. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.1%. Overall this is a very solid pale adjunct lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pale malt/corn flavors, and light earthy hop balance. Not too heavy on the corn, with nice barley presence. An enjoyable and well made offering. Tastes identical to regular Busch. 0.2% less alcohol isn't making a noticeable difference to me.

One of my favorites! Really good looking with the new cans that came out last year. Reminds me of all of the good times with my friends in college. Still with a great taste. However, it is not pleasant smelling. Still a 5 in my book. A true classic.

Iowan here. Absolutely a staple beer for football season here. Regardless, it's not that great of a beer. Safe to say this one is a porch pounder. Cheap 30 packs, so perfect for you and a buddy during a football game.

This beer is, inexplicable, a regional favorite where I live, and it pains me that this is such a go to. Upsetting carbonation, utter lack of distinguishable care as far as mouthfeel is concerned, and just tastes like if you left water on the windowsill and it somehow went bad.

Like most light beers, it taste's like a watered-down version of the original. Good for parties, etc. though. I remember during the draft beer craze, this was available in a "draft" version as well.

There's worse out there. Anyway, while I prefer a darker bodied bolder brew, I grew up drinking "cheap, red neck piss beer". IE Pabst Blue Ribon, Old Milwaukee light/Best, Coors light etc. Whatever I could steel from Grandma's fridge. Anyway, as cheap light beer goes Busch Light and Miller Light are about as good as it gets. I've been drinking this a couple of weeks because my Father in Law's been at the house more often and I try keep something around that he can drink for health reasons. (He's to avoid carbs) and it's grown on me a bit. Like I said there's a lot worse out there.

Busch light isn't that bad of a lighter body beer. Better in bottle than can. Definitely an underrated affordable light beer. I drank 30 a night in college. JK

Pours a very translucent color with a hint of pale yellow. Nice firm creamy head that dissipates within minutes of pouring. Absolutely no lacing whatsoever. Smells of generic corn malt with some sweet notes, but no discernible hops or other flavoring factors. Tastes almost exactly like it smells - lightly sweet, mostly heavily carbonated corn. Has a somewhat greasy feel towards the end of the swallow; leaves you feeling like you've just drunk some unfiltered city water. Overall, what you would expect from a standard AAL. Nothing to really feel good about drinking, but at a cheap price tag, it's decent. Wouldn't recommend.

Took me awhile to get around to this...cost was $3 for a 25 fl oz can in Brooklyn, NY.

"Light beer." 4.1% ABV. Nutritional facts are included on the label.

Pours a dull yellow-copper with a thin off-white cap atop. Head retention is good - ~8 minutes. Obviously filtered; clear, clean, transparent/translucent.

AROMA: Corn adjunct, 6-row, generic malty sweetness. No hoppy notes - not even grassiness. Very generic, evoking a drinkable simple brew with no off-flavours. Inoffensive.

Aromatic intensity is mild.

TASTE: Matches the aroma. On the sweet side, but though it's imbalanced it isn't cloying or undrinkable, and I like that it doesn't have any overt off-flavours. Still, some graininess or grassy hop flavour would lend needed bitterness and give it some complexity. Very simple shallow fare as-is, but not bad by any stretch.

TEXTURE: Light to medium-bodied. Has too much heft and weight on the palate for a light lager, even flirting with a thick syrupy feel but not quite crossing the line. Unrefreshing. Smooth. Wet. Overcarbonated.

Not buttery or astringent or anything, but certainly far from ideal for the style.

OVERALL: I'd sooner stick to regional competitors in terms of budget light lagers (e.g. Genessee Light). This is drinkable and inoffensive, and it's tough to say anything more positive than that about it. Wouldn't be bad for pairing with spicy food (e.g. atomic wings) or something greasy like fried chicken, but it's by no means a stand-out brew and even amongst the usual suspect macrolagers available in the United States I don't think it's upper tier. Cheap swill that should be more refreshing than it is. Can't complain about the price by New York standards, I guess.

16 ounce pint can purchased from a local convenience store for $1.08 Drunk straight from the can. Golden yellow with no detectable aroma. Tasted like a typical mass produced beer. No after taste what so ever. Went down smooth but a little watery which was to be expected. Over all not bad for what it is. I don't know why people rag on this beer. I'm not normally an Anhauser-Bush drinker but I made the rare exception for this one. The low alcohol content leaves you a little buzzed but not drunk. I would drink this again and reach for it over Bud.

Crisp, light, refreshing, smooth. Must drink this at tooth cracking cold temperatures. I only rate this high because it is my cheap go to beer. By far my favorite light beer. And for $17.92 a dirty thirty, well, you can't beat that. Maybe it is just the Wisconsin in me.

Busch Light has good bang for your buck. Cheaper than Bud, Miller and Coors (lights) and I can't notice much of a difference in taste quality. Far better than Keystone or Natty for only a few dollars more.
With this in mind, this beer has almost no body. Head disappears almost instantly and is overall very watery. Quenches thirst well but one beer won't leave you satisfied whatsoever.
Pick up a case of if you're hosting the bros for poker night and you're on a budget.

Pours a shade towards gold but nearly clear. Smells faintly of stale, cheap grains.
The flavor has very little malt and some corn that combine for a subpar drinking experience. Faint stewed hop flavor, corn, generic sweetness, with a very slight tang and bitterness from the hops.
Light, watery body with fizzy carbonation that does well to mask some of the flavor.
Overall, this is just more working man's cheap beer. Not very good at all.

12oz can BB 7/4/17 poured into a vintage Busch glass at fridge temp 4.1% ABV. The beer is bright and gold in color. The white head is very short lived and there is no lacing. There is very little aroma, just some faint grain and sweetness. Taste is limited as well. Seriously, I can't pinpoint a stand alone flavor. Mouthfeel is thin with sharp carbonation and a slightly oily finish that stops this from finishing dry. Overall, ok, if you're looking for lawn mower beer. I prefer AAL that have no advertising budget hoping just a few more dollars get spent on quality ingredients.

I have been on a macro kick and this one has fond memories from two plus decades ago. I have a close buddy I used to drink this with and he still swears by it.

Looks like super pale ginger ale,, but comparatively flat. Almost no nose, even for light beer. Delivers muted malt and a whiff of hops. It is quaff-able and very cheap. Sometimes you can go home. You want to pound, it's not too bad.

A - total piss color - clear straw with no head
S - grain, corn, bread, very light american earthy hops
T - same as smell, but slight bump for it going down like water
M - light light light, no alcohol to speak of, aftertaste is light grain
O - carbonated water. Exactly what is needed for.college beer pong.

L: Pale yellow, sort of like your piss will be through your first 4 or so cans, since you'll need to drink a lot to get drunk, and you'll be making frequent restroom trips

S: Really nothing going on here, in a good way. No obtrusive scents that sometimes come along for the ride with the cheap, college beers.

T: Again, not much going on here, and again, it's a positive. There's very little hop/corn/anything to hinder speedy consumption, so it goes down smooth. The positive is that it can be pounded quickly because there's little carbonation, and it tastes much less watery than its more commonly purchased Budweiser counterpart.

F: Smooth as fuck.

Overall: A solid cheap beer. Lower ABV so you have to drink more, but it's significantly cheaper than Bud/Rolling Rock/Miller/Coors, and you can pound it easily because of the consistency.

Don't grade based on overall beer type, because this obviously won't compare to your favorite small-batch craft, but that's the point. You don't sip 2 of these over the course of a night, this is a "let's get trashed" kind of beer, and should be judged only in comparison to beers of its kind, of which it is by far the best option.
