Notes:
Brewed with two-row and roasted caramel malt for a rich color, and a blend of hand-selected premium American and Bavarian hops for balance and flavor. Budweiser Select spends approximately twice as long as regular beers in the brewhouse, which results in lower carbohydrate and calorie content after fermentation.

Had that one time at a party back in the day. I have had a wicked lot of beers from these guys, most of which are not at all good whatsoever, this included.

Pours a very pale yellow color with a very small white head. It has the taste of a beer .. sort of .. when you drink one ice cold and are dying of thirst. Haven't had one in years and now I remember why. Blah.

This is my favorite backyard all-nighter beer. In my fridge you find 3 types of beer: a Stout buy-of-the-week, miller lite, Budweiser Select. Love Budweiser Select can't complain. Full of memories of the good ole college years where we all chip in to buy a 24-pk or two.

One of the better light macro beers out there - it'll never compare to the craft beer, but it's excellent for what it is. Great lawn mowing / fishing / golfing beer on a hot day.

12oz bottle - review from notes
This is just a big nothing. Or a small nothing. Smells like water. Tastes like water with a little beer poured innit.

25oz can stamped 20NOV21 poured into a pint glass at fridge temp 4.3% ABV. The beer pours bright very light gold in color with minimal nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. The aroma is faint with a minerally vegetable note. The taste is barely sweet and tart with a mild toasted malt note and plenty of movie popcorn butter. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with above average carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Overall, ok. It's nice that they put some toasted malt in this beer, but the vegetable and butter notes are too much to forgive.

Lightly chill hazed pale amber with a persistent off-white creamy head leaving fine curtains on the glass.
Oh, so it's a less-light Bud Light--just a little toastier, and less ricey, waxy or sweet of grape notes. Unfortunately, while slightly reduced, those notes are all still there, accompanied by a slightly more present touch of bread that's missing from the lighter brother.
The medium body is fluffy but wet.

This beer is great. It’s one of, if not my favorite beer. The taste isn’t too strong, so for the novice beer drinker it’s a great choice. It is very refreshing and goes down easy. Not very filling, and easy to drink! I hope that Budweiser does not stop the production of this beer because it is one of kind and I have very fond memories of drinking this with my friends. I highly recommend this beer.

Gold in color with excellent clarity and plenty of carbonation bubbles. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim and covering a quarter of the top. I get the faintest corn aroma, but I really have to seek it out. I’m tasting faint corn. The mouth is watery and highly quaffable.

This is a good beer. An “Awful rating” just isn’t accurate or appropriate. This beer tastes good.... light .... crisp... session able ... and great with family and friends..
Not all beer needs to cost $6 or more for ten ounces... don’t get caught in the hype... drink it because you like it....don’t let opinions sway what you like!

*For "Lite" beer* #beer flavored water that tastes good.
When I first drank it I thought of iced tea, they managed to get the flavor without the body.
Advertised as an UltraLite low cal blahblahblah, This is one of the best tasting of all light beers. No floral hops but I do not enjoy that in a light. Just a smooth aftertaste from fresh bread.

This one's got some noble hops in the nose, plus a little caramel. The flavor has a hint of toast with pilsner malt. It's got a bit of flavor but watery as fuck.

Of the Budweiser products probably one of the better ones. The black can at least makes you look a bit cool when drinking it. If you find one fresh, cold, it's probably better than average

L: Pale straw yellow two finger head with little lacing and dissipating quickly.
S: Almost no smell but bready water.
T: Watered down grain - this may be an improvement from the standard, but without a side by side I'd be hard to convince.
F: Thin but carbonated.
O: Another Midwest staple for those who think they found class.
