Pale clear yellow. Slight off white head. Lace is negligible. Aroma is soft maltiness and barley. Pretty decent. On the palate, the malts are clean, sweet and grainy and the overall taste is balanced. The mouthfeel is not as fizzy as some macros, which is good. And the body is pushing above medium slightly. Good macro.

Pretty darn good Macro, easily the best AB beer around.

Dark gold with a nice head that doesn't stick around very long. Rich smell of deep malt. Nice but not complex in the least.

Tastes incredibly smooth. Very malty. Strong taste of wheat (not wheatmalt, just wheat...like bread) followed up by a surprising dose of hops in the back.

Goes down very smooth. Solid body. Not way too carbonated like most AB beers.

Pours light and bubbly. Aroma is of grains (corn?). Decent hoppiness. Taste is light bodied and refreshing, a little on the dry side, which is typical for a "draft" served in the bottle. Overall, tasted like a cheap beer, almost like crap.

An average macrobrew, nothing outstanding. Typical clear yellowish translucent color. No notable aroma, nothing outstanding. The tastes, body, and after glow is what you would expect from the macro line. Although, better than a Budweiser

My impression of this beer was the mouthfeel, as there seemed little overall flavor. There was a softness and fluffiness to the feel that was unusually obvious, leading almost to a sense of creaminess. Other characteristics seemed pretty typical for style.

Head lasts longer than many macros, but has no body. Clear golden-yellow color. Smell is like a combo of slightest yeast and root beer extract. There is a smoothness, brought on by less-than-expected carbonation and some of the most distinctively sweet malt I have ever tasted in the last five years. Flavor is cleared before the swallow. I think this has less hop than MGD, but I don't prefer either. A beer for those who choose vanilla soft serve at the ice cream stand. Very distinct smoothness and sweetness. One of the surviving "Goldens" that were big in the 1980s...

While I am not the biggest fan of American lagers, this is not a bad beer. Well balanced so it can go with just about any kind of food...or no food at all. Worth a try and, if nothing else, econimical. Prost!

Decent, but not inspiring. There is just nothing very
distinguishing about it. Very similar to Miller Genuine Draft. Must be the infamous "cold filtered" myth and mystique...Very Average and slightly watery. I've had a few of these at Tiger games at Comerica Park. Not bad on a hot day.

It might just be me, but I don't think this is bad at all. it tastes on the sweeter side to me when compared to the other american lagers..almost a little syrupy feel to it. If someone else was buying I'd drink these...if you like sweeter style beers this might be the Macro of choice for you

I probably wouldn't have tried this if it hadn't been for a weekend pig roast where it was the kegged swill of the day. True to the label claim with it's golden color. No head or aroma to speak of. Fairly smooth and more flavorful than many macros. My expectations were nil, but this stuff somehow exceeded them and as it turned out, really wasn't all that bad.
