I loved everything about this beer! (except it's limited availability) Great looking packaging, taste was fantastic, smooth and not too hoppy, and consistent. Great tasting amber ale quality. I am hoping AB will roll out another batch soon.

Copper amber, low carbonation, no head retention. Non descriptive nose, just flat extract like character. Taste is somewhat bitter and dry, with metallic, and hard mineral off flavor. Dumped rest of it, to much good beer to waste time with this garbage.

12oz bottle poured into shaker pint. Poured a clean, clear, attractive, bright amber color, with just a thin cap of barely off-white head that had low retention and no lacing.

The aroma was dominantly sweet, very caramel-ey. Same on the tongue, sweet, with just the faintest hint of a hop tinge. Body was medium-ish, fuller than most "American Lagers", but not heavy by any stretch.

Drinkability was fine, I knocked back a couple while watching a 'Rasslin' PPV with friends the other night (made an acceptable palate cleanser between the Big Beers), and this one for the review. Overall, solid enough for what it is, but it ain't no Yuengling Lager. If you're a ticker, get one. If not, but someone hands you one at a cookout, eh, you could do worse, drink it.

Nice beer reminds me of Busch's old Copper Lager. This beer has a nice hint of bourbon infused chocolate malt on the nose. Almost reminds me of a Porter in this aspect, but maybe that's just me. I can taste a lot of carmel and chocolate in this beer for some reason. It still has that lager taste and feel to it. It's a little spicy but not overpowering. It's a nice smooth finish, overall a decent beer.

Amber Lager with a Oktoberfest, Marzen meets Yuengling Traditional Lager sort of feel and taste. Caramel meets butterscotch note, with some apple notes meets sweetish malt. Smooth finish. Weak head and some lacing. Overall I'd say 3.5 for a score, and a beer I wish would be brewed as a regular offering. It's very drinkable, I'd like the finish to be a bit smoother and mouthfeel was very good. More than solid for a Amber Lager. Good enough I'd buy it again.

12oz bottle poured into glass.
Look: Amber with a thin white head.
Smell: Budweiser, but with malt notes.
Taste: budweiser at first, but malt and caramel notes.
Feel: a little strong due to the abv.
Overall: this is what Budweiser should be making all along, hopefully the change their mind about making a limited run beer. It could compete with Yuengling and Sam Adams and do well.
