12oz bottle that came from one of the mixed 12 packs. drank from my sierra nevada hop tulip glass.
A- this one pours out a light copper colored body with a centimeter of eggshell colored head. the head vanishes almost instantly and leaves behind the smallest spots of lacing. lots of carbonation bubbles can be seen racing to the top of my glass.
S- very subtle. semi sweet caramel malts. slight graininess. at the end there is a very small hint of citrus (grapefruit) hops. i was expecting more from this seeing as how the bottle brags about the cascade dry hopping.
T- after the initial letdowns that were the appearance and nose, the taste stages a small comeback. for one its much stronger than the smell would indicate. caramel malts upfront and a decently strong citrus hop finish.
M- light to medium bodied with a high level of carbonation. crisp and clean. refreshing.
D- easy enough to finish and something that would probably go over well with the typical BMC crowd. not the best example of the style, but ive certainly had worse.

Copper color, small 1/4" white head. Cascade hoppy aroma.
Taste more of the same, solid bitterness especially for an AB product, a little caramel. This was a cool beer in the mid 90s, totally serviceable. A little more bitter than the English genre, but whatever, better for it. Would totally bang again when at a lesser bar or whatnot.

A somewhat dated 12 oz bottle from the back fo the refrigerator, wih the review tempered by memory from fresher bottles.
Look: surprisingly good, with a clear, deep amber body covered by a rather creamy looking, bone-colored head.
Aroma: earthy hops are stronger than the malt base
Flavor: again earthy hops over a sweet and light roast malt base but tainted with some metallic tones (attributed largely to age) and hints of corn.
Feel: Medium body with a very good carbonation level.
O: given a fresh bottle, not bad; even roughly average and, therefore, better than expected.
