Bud Light Orange has a thick, white head, a clear, bubbly straw appearance, and minimal glass lacing. The aroma is of orange spritz, orange peel, and underlying light adjunct lager. Taste is similar, with a strong acidic note. Body is light to medium, and Bud Light Orange finishes not so dry (even with the high-fructose corn syrup ingredient).

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange peels are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of orange peels and has hints of sweetness. No adjunct flavors are detectable.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer reminds me a lot like drinking an Orangina soft drink and even has a slight bit of sweetness. It's pretty good compared to other beers in the style, especially since the orange masks any traces of adjuncts. The orange also doesn't taste artificial in flavor - it seems to resembles clementines.

Bought a 6 pack bottles, pulled one out and put it in the freezer another 30 min after I got home, max chill no ice formed. Poured into a frozen glass pint mug. Any head present dissipated quickly, and faint citrus smell but not of any pronounced orangeness. Tastes much like crushed St. Joseph's aspirin and surprisingly sweet and a good orange taste, plenty of effervescence. On an empty stomach the buzz came quickly for a low ABV. If you like a sweet refreshing standard American adjunct orange beer this is a winner and a good option and change of pace

12oz bottle poured into Duvel tulip. Got a single from the grocery store for $1.50. 18167 printed in black rectangle on bottom left of back label. Presumably born on July 16, 2018, making this about 2.5 months old. Not the freshest but worth a shot.

Appearance - Pours small sudsy white head with very minor retention and fine sheets of decent lacing. Nothing special; pretty standard for the style. 4

Smell - Light orange with a bit of musky hay behind it. About as pleasant as you'll ever get from a light lager. 5

Taste - Orange zest up front but transitions into a thin wateriness with a hint of cardboard. That aftertaste slightly detracts from its overall drinkability, but not too much. 4.5

Mouthfeel - Crisp, zesty, and effervescent. Finishes clean. 5

Overall - Refreshing, delicious, and abut as good as you'll ever do from an American light lager. It's actually better from the bottle than from a glass, if you don't mind not being able to smell your beer. Not only is it very good in style, it's actually a pretty decent beer overall as well. 4.5

twist off top, classy. pours golden with a mild head that quickly dissipates, good carbonation
smell is, in classic bud fashion, of a rotten version of what its supposed to be. in this case it smells like rotting orange soda
taste is extremely sweet with the mentioned-on-the-label orange peel very detectable adding a bitter quality. i love mixed flavors usualy but this one simply doesnt work, its like someone put orange peel essential oil in sprite, which may sound good, but its not, i had to chug it to avoid tasting it more than three times

L: Very light yellow. No head and slight lace, Soda like carbs.
S: As advertised. Orange peel, not a fake orange "baby aspirin". Maybe a little on the sweet "pop" style.
F: Creamy at the start. Watery swallow. No bitter to speak of other than a bit from the flavor added.
T: Okay. Baby aspirin it does have. It's got the grainy aftertaste of cheap adjunct beers but the sweet dryness from the orange keeps that under control well enough. I do get the bit of bitter from the peel and the artificial of orange soda.
O: Actually, I'd prefer this to the lime version just for the stronger taste of the orange overpowering the beer flavor under it. This isn't bad, it was worth a try. It came out better than I expected.

Bought a 6-pack bottles Don Quiojte $6.99
Smells like fresh oranges
Light clear golden color
Light mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Tastes of orange, light malt flavors
Overall not bad. It's definitely not a craft beer, but it is refreshing and kind of like a palette cleanser after drinking heavier beers. I would drink this once in a great while.

lol. What is this? It tastes like orange soda after it’s been sitting in ice for a few minutes. It has flavor but beer isn’t one of them. I actually enjoyed it because I like orange soda and this delivers on that but before the first taste the expectation was obviously that it’d taste like beer which isn’t doesnt.

Anheuser-Busch "Bud Light Orange"
12 fl. oz. clear glass bottle, coded "18163 WC0821"
$2 @ Giant, Havertown, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a crystal clear golden-orange body beneath a short head of bright white that simply faded away. It looks like a glass of soda pop. It also smells like an orange soda pop. It says it's "brewed with real orange peels" on the neck label but it also mentions "natural citrus flavors" on the body label and I'm assuming that's where most of it comes from. I guess it smells alright but it doesn't smell like beer. I can't remember, does Bud Light Lime smell like Sprite? I thought it was better than that. On to the flavor... it also tastes like orange soda, albeit it watered down. Apart from the fact that it's already been mixed and packaged I'm not sure why you wouldn't just take a can of orange soda and add some vodka to it instead. Of course this has less calories, and it's less sweet, you'd also have to have some plain seltzer on hand to mix this up so maybe that would be a hassle. So, OK, this doesn't look like beer as it doesn't have any head and doesn't leave any lace, and it doesn't smell or taste of malt or hops so it doesn't smell or taste like a beer either, and thus it's simply a "malternative". I guess that's alright if that's what you want but I'm not sure why the Bud Light moniker is on there unless it's just for name recognition. I don't really remember it too well as I haven't had one in some time but I do remember liking it more than this. As far as alternatives go, there are better examples out there.

From the can stamped 18152-WA2208. Sampled on July 21, 2018.

The pour looks like a typical light lager with its golden-pale yellow color and foamy white head that fades to a ring.

The nose is immediately orange with a touch of citrus but a far lower bready, grainy malt profile. Smells flavored.

Light refreshing body. Crisp ending.

The taste is a bit over the top with the orange. Way too much orange and not enough citrusy, grainy sweet malts. Almost like an orange soft drink. Yes, there is a sweetness but it is orange all the way. Not something I'll have a second time.

Poured from a 24 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell has lots of oranges, little else. Taste is oranges, light malts, plenty of sugary sweetness. Feels light bodied in the mouth with high carbonation and overall is a very refreshing and decent beer at this price point.
