This is literally the perfect beer. It changed my life. I used to be a loser until this golden lager touched my lips. Now I am a god. Thanks Busch, you finally made up for 9/11.

I have a hard time with the large number of "1" ratings for this beer. I'm not going to do a A-S-T-M-O type review since this stuff will mostly be drank out of the can anyway.

This is a perfectly acceptable "Ice" style beer. I poured a little in a glass and as expected it was pale yellow with fleeting head. The smell and taste are actually quite neutral. The mouthfeel is pleasant due to a moderate level of carbonation. Even several minutes after finishing a 24 ounce can I still have a pleasant after taste.

There is a multitude of malt beverages that make this stuff look like a world class beer which makes me wonder how anyone can rate it a "1".

This is a drinkable, 5.9 class ice beer. No - it's not world class but it's hardly bottom of the barrel either.

(25 oz can - THE BIG ONE - code 8290 WA1325 ... poured into a snifter)

L: perfectly crystal-clear, pale gold liquid; white foam on pour self-destructs, leaving med-thin collar, shallow island of bubbles in the middle... actually some spotty lacing; collar keeps till end

S: sweet apple juice, hay, mellow underbelly of cereal grain and masa... a fruity pancake?; soft hint of sweet esters... after sips, only faint, corn syrup/meal note cuts through

T: essence of an apple danish/muffin (apple, light almost doughy malt), just without sugary sweetness... after those first two sips, familiar lightly-pommed Kix cereal grainy flavor takes over... hints at syrupy sweet, but frayed-clipped on the back end, very mild watery finish... has similar vague phenolic banana note in aftertaste as Busch standard

F: lithe, comfortably light-bodied; nearly silky smooth viscosity; latent gas, but no real sizzle; mild perhaps alcohol 'legs' in the finish... just a dream drink from the glass

O: taste kind of straddles adjunct lager and malt liquor... not all that bad for an 'Ice', probably one of the better, more palatable ones I've had; dare say I liked it more and more as it went along... easily could have finished whole can, but will buy again!

Served from 25oz can into shaker glass. Standard lager appearance -- 2" sudsy white head, mild lacing, pale straw color, moderate streaming bubbles. Aroma -mild toasted malt and slight corn sweetness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, frothy with a crisp, dry finish. Flavor of lightly toasted malt, cracker, a bit of corn, with a mild hop bite. Overall: a decent offering in the style.

Poured into a disused Yahtzee shaker.

Look: bad. Like something an alcoholic would drink out of something other than glass

Color: slightly yellow. Nothing impressive.

Smell: nonexistent.

Taste: vaguely of beer and old play-doh.

Feel: ha!

Overall: it was cold and I drank it. Experience is slightly heightened when drinking in the shower.

Busch Ice. The official beer of American college party goers that want to say to the second-string quarterback that their beer is stronger than theirs.

Honestly though, it's manageable. It's 5.5% ABV here in Ontario, FYI.

Look: Yup, it's beer.
Smell: Smells like beer.
Taste: Complicated. Like it's trying to be overly malty, but a hidden grainy flavour is escaping.
Feel: Smooth Intro, and a surprisingly large bite at the end.

Overall, I shockingly like it. The main reason is because some people can slam a few cans of these, and not realize they slammed a few cans. It's easy to casually drink, and that's its redeeming quality.

Busch Ice brewed by Anheuser-Busch pours out a nice amber color, with an ABV of 5.9%. This brew has a small white head that goes away fast. Busch Ice looks like an american style lager. This brew dose not look like most Ice beers out on the market. Most of them are a darker amber color. The smell is the same as any american style lager beer. The smell is a strong with alcohol but not bad. The taste is smooth for being 5.9 ABV. This is one Ice brew that goes down like a regular american style beer. Busch Ice is not as sweet as Busch, it has a more bitter taste. Not too bitter to make a bad taste. The mouth feel is nice and crisp and refreshing. Overall for being an ICE Beer I giving this beer a 4 out 5. I will get this brew again.
This one of the best ICE brews.

Pours with a thin head to a mild amber color, despite the small head its clear its highly carbonated,

The smell is of water, grains, and lightly of alcohol

The taste is that expected of an adjunct except sweeter with the alcohol accenting the flavor of the light lager

This is a good cheap ice beer, at 5.9% it's reasonably strong and very drinkable

Another one that I will only buy and drink if it's the cheapest option. After two or three, however, you kind of forget how bad it is. For some reason, though, it is usually cheaper than regular Busch.

Pours out a clear medium yellow color. Head is white with almost no retention. No lacing.
Smells a bit like banana. Could be the corn. There is also a faint graininess in the back but not much else.
Pretty light tasting for 5.9 abv. If its really cold that is. The cheap corn sweetness makes its appearance as the it warms.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodies with high carbonation. Standard for the style.

It isnt too bad when cold. But as warms watch out.

This beer seems to be somewhat of a rare find for an A-B product. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I am going to be enjoying a 25 fluid ounce can (ONE EXTRA OUNCE! - BUY 24 CANS GET ONE FREE!) that was brewed at the Fairfield, California, brewery located about 2 hours southwest of me. That last fact is amusing because the 25 ounce can of Budweiser I purchased last week was brewed at the Houston, Texas, brewery, located thousands of miles away. Maybe Fairfield is too busy cranking out the Busch Ice to make Budweiser?

A: Apple juice. I've recently drank Busch (lol) and can say that the ice version is many shades darker, although not dark enough to be attractive. After a minute the beer is absolutely still with the faintest-possible foam ring. No lacing at all. Like I said, apple juice.

S: Cold raw red meat. Metallic and salty. Some sweetness that is slightly fruity (apples and raspberries.) Spent grains. There is a healthy amount alcohol in the smell.

T: This is an ice beer. It's based on a parent beer (Busch) and should have a concentrated taste of that beer. Busch Ice is the ice version of a beer that has no taste. See what I'm saying? It's hard to knock this beer for being flavorless, but damn, even in the A-B world there are much better choices for both the money and ABV percentage. The first 2/3rds of a drink is sweet followed by the the last 1/3rd being sour. Not bitter, sour. This has that signature Busch "aspirin" flavor.

M: The best part of this beer. Busch's only redeeming value is that it has an intense carbonation that makes it refreshing and easy to pound (sorry, drink.) Busch Ice tries to replicate that. If you pour mildly you'll get it. Creaminess lingers on the palate after swallowing. Carbonation is stinging. Thicker than expected. Very enjoyable.

O: Well, at least you can actually catch a buzz off of the ice version, but I guess that's the point? When comparing Busch Ice to it's brothers I'd say that Bud Ice is MUCH smoother and easier to drink and Natty Ice has a MUCH better flavor and is easier to drink. Or, for the same price or less, just grab a Hurricane High Gravity!

I want to like Busch Ice. I really do. Drinking this non-critically will give better results, but *cough*, Hurricane High Gravity.

a pale yellow with no head to speak of what so ever, really just a clear, over carbonated mess of a look for me. but a trudge on. weak grains, touches of light corn and bready notes abound here, again not that i was expecting a ton of wonderful flavor here, but it could have been more then the wet cardboard that i got. clean and crisp, light feel worked for the style and it went down smooth and easy,

I've already tried Busch and Busch Light. Figured I might as well go for the trifecta. The $1.49/ tall boy price tag didn't hurt.

Look: The clearest ice beer I've ever seen. Not unlike the other two Busch beers, with perhaps slightly more of a head on the initial pour. Not thrilling.

Smell: Faint wheat, grass, biscuit malts, wet cardboard. Unusual for the style, but not unpleasant.

Taste: Surprisingly decent. Most cheap ice beers have a nasty alcoholic burn to them; this one does not. It reminds me somewhat of Olde English malt liquor. Very smooth, kind of like the lighter Busch variants but with a little kick of banana/clove that does a good job of balancing out the alcohol.

Feel: Similar to Genesee Ice. It's lighter than your typical bottom-shelf ice beer, but still slick and gets worse as it warms up.

Overall: You could do much worse in the style. It's not a great beer by any means, but it's a good buzz for the buck.

Appearance is a light yellow with no head. Smell is a grainy, corny adjunct aroma. Taste has a corny adjunct sweetness with a light alchohol bite. Mouthfeel, considering, has good body and carbonation. The mouthfeel has the only thing really going for this beer, although the alchohol helps. I bought this as a single to try and I think I'll keep it that way.

Poured into a pint glass.

Pale yellow, immediately disappearing head, fizzy.

Smell like corn and metal.

It tastes better than I expected. It's got a big adjunct flavor and a touch of hop bitterness.

It's watery and bubbly.

I like this better than another BMC's ice beer I think. You're #1 Busch Ice!

Poured from a 24 ounce can with born on date on the bottom of the can. Do you think freshness matters cuz my can said born on Sept 08. Poured into a pint glass no head. Very little carbonation. Straw yellow color. I drank this very cold cuz I figured its an ice beer I should drink it ice cold. Not much flavor other than rice and corn. Went down pretty smooth and fast.
