Far better than its plain Jane cousin. You can actually enjoy drinking these for a night. Overall decent look and good taste. Definitely one of the best Bud products.

A beer crafted by God herself. Perfect on a hot summer day, or heated up for a delicious winter treat. The lime flavor soothes the senses while not being too overpowering. 11/10, would drink every day if my wife would allow me.

Ok to skip this, but it's what my sibs serve on summer vacation, if only I could blend it with a Centennial IPA.
a) Flattish after a foamy initial pour, just piss yellow with scant bubbles after a min.
s) Grain and medicine cabinet, some cleaner?
t) Fine, fresh, grainy mass, with lime - legit.
f) Thin.
o) Why?

Served from 25 oz can in pint glass. Pours a 1" white head that falls quickly with a hint of lacing. Color is pale straw, abundant carbonation. Aroma is lime and lime zest, some grain. Mouthfeel is almost identical to a soda. Flavor is somewhat like Sprite but without any bite to it. Overall: it is OK on a hot day but it is too sweet for having more than one.

I want to trash this garbage but it’s hard. I am conflicted. Of course if you have money and, like most BA users, appreciate good beer, this is beneath your contempt. But if you are broke or don’t want to spend $20+ on a 12 pack, maybe this is for you. It looks like shit, kinda artificial straw. Smells like you squeezed a lime in trash light AAL. Tastes a bit better than all of that. Maybe a splash of Rose’s in awful light beer.
How could you quantify the feel, to the extent there is one, of this swill?
I don’t buy it. But, I will drink it when it’s around. I would prefer Miller Chill. Or chili, I forget.
It could be a lot worse.

Summer is looking pretty different this year, but one thing that never changes is the people’s need for an economic and slammable citrus refreshment to keep the spirits in flight amid the blazing summer heat. After a long day under the sun there is nothing more revitalizing than cracking open a truly light and foamy brew that leaves the sincere taste of limes ringing with every sip. This drink can convert even the most skeptical of beer drinkers into enthusiasts over its flavorful and easy going demeanor. What BLL lacks in quality craft appeal (and, frankly, alcohol), it makes up in its ability to bring EVERYONE into the fold, whether you like seltzer, beer, or both — To us, that’s really pretty special.

Keeping an open mind to what this is, you're about to consume one of the largest selling beers by volume in North America with a lime twist. The original recipe used artificial flavorings and within the last 2 years, the reformulated Bud Light Lime emerged now using 'natural lime flavor' as printed on the can.

Pouring a light yellow of atypical Bud Light, you will notice a small 'tinting' from fruit juice that makes a semi darker than usual product. The head moves fast and is nearly transparent white leaving lacing and a small residual rim. Carbonation is high, mixed champagne bubbles - original pour into a pint glass from 25 oz can.

The smell is Skittles Green candies - think sweet lime extracts that are both clean and refreshing.

As for the taste, you're met with a balance between beer and flavor - front notes are a bit tart followed by a rush of carbonation, mids have a taste of barely, and the beer finishes with a classic bud light rice-boil taste with light hops and a punch of lime sweetness that finishes crisp.

The mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, average carbonation, no traceable alcohol.

(25.4 oz can, 19142 BK2246; purchased cold... poured into 28 oz mug)

L: crystal-clear (but not polished), pale yellow-gold liquid; white foam erupts then crumbles upon formation... little specks of lace; does maintain a thin collar

S: real-smelling fresh fleshy lime aroma, most dominant, with a surprising cereal malt sugary note punching out at the back, almost mildly toasty even... nice contrast in spite of fruit infusion... after a few moments, the scent takes on a car air freshener and/or bathroom cleaner bouquet

T: first sip: lime out the wazoo, malt buried but nonetheless certainly present at the bottom, weakly swelling in the finish and sort of hanging quietly in the aftertaste - still, a surprising degree of almost granola malt flavor... the malt keeps building, sip to sip... honestly tastes like regular Bud (or even Bud Ice?), lime-meat injected; doesn't quite taste 'light' to me

F: subtle prickle to the carbonation; strange slow flow and finish, almost a delicate, subtly plush viscosity; the lingering lime with the mellow alcohol seems to emit a phantom warmth... I'm sure it's a-ok ice cold, but barely cool, ain't too shabby

O: and the gap-filler, cheapo swill reviews continue... I'd sort of enjoyed Labatt Blue Light Lime not long ago, so I was marginally curious to see how this compared - I liked it more?!... I hate to say it, I finally just tried Grapefruit Sculpin for the first time the other day, and I almost prefer this - this tastes more like a (light) beer than GrSc tastes like an IPA - mildly shocked how 'balanced' BL Lime is (1451)

In my opinion the best brew on the bud light line and it is not close. Does not even taste like it should have bud in the name. This brew doesn’t do anything special at all. This brew is a light beer that should be drank on any warm summer day. Not overwhelmed with that typical AAL beer taste but that little bit of lime in the brew sure does go a long way.

L:. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a quickly dissipating small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S:. Basically smells like lime and nothing else, a bit of tartness.

T:. Lime and a bit of tartness, fairly sweet.

F:. Light and crisp and easy drinking.

O:. This beer basically tastes like lime, if you like go for it, bit at least it is better than regular Bud Light.

Pours a translucent straw with a few, thin bubbles rising to the top. Head is a finger in height and snow white in color. Aroma is sharp lime, crackery, biscuity malts and spicy hops. Flavor profile is sharp and citrusy lime with straw, light crackery malts and spicy hops. Mouth feel is thin, sharp, and crisp. It has a thin consistency. Overall, sharp, with lime at the tip of the spear.

Served in a wine glass from a 12oz bottle.

It's been a few years since I drank this, but in the right situation I would drink it again. Another clean smooth aal, panned unfairly in my opinion. It is a decent hot summer day option. While it does not rate quite at average, it's not far off

can to solo cup. pours yellow almost the same color of urine. smells like wet/spoiled grains. No head at all or even lacing that I am aware of. Tasted horrible. mouth feel was watery and sour like old lemons. This was not a good beer even with lime and salt. I would rather guzzle swamp water. Anheuser-Busch failed miserably.

This beer goes well with some mexican food. Have it with a burrito, damn quesadilla, or some chips and salsa. If lower tier beer with lime is your thing, then bud light lime is the one to get.

It just barely qualifies as beer. It reminded me of those malt 'wine' coolers they used to sell in the 80s/90s. Strong lime flavor covered whatever beer flavor was there.

This meets the standards of a light lager. Pale yellow in color with a medium lace that dissipates. No bitterness, light carbonation, no hops. Faint malt/lime aromas. Just a plain old-fashioned light beer. If you want more out of a beer this is not for you. If you just want a non-complicated, decent tasting beer this will meet your craving.

So if you ordered a glass of ginger ale, with ice, and gave it a squeeze of lime and left the wedge to bob around in it, and let the ice melt and the whole thing warm up a bit, you'd pretty much get this. Stale lime peel watery ginger ale. You have been warned.

Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head that left little lacing. Smells of light roasted malts, lime and yeast. Tastes of artificially sweet lime juice, lightly roasted malts and yeast. Basically tastes like a bad limeade with just a touch of alcohol. Light bodied, watery mouth feel, moderate carbonation.

I'm not too good to say that I enjoy a crisp Bud Light every now and then. This stuff is pretty foul, though. All I can taste is an unconvincing lime syrup bringing too much sweetness to an otherwise light & refreshing beer. You'd do much better to add a splash of real lime juice (or even the bottled stuff) to some regular Bud Light. Yes, it's a little more effort, but it is well worth it on a hot summer evening.

25 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 12/7/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lime, lemon, and citrus zest; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Okay aromas with lime and light malt/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lime, lemon, and citrus zest; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness and citrus tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart lime, lemon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Solid robustness and good balance of lime and malt/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Pretty thin, but not watery feeling. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a decent flavored light lager. All around solid robustness and good balance of lime and malt/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Not bad at all, balanced lime and clean light lager flavors. Nothing wrong with it; a bit artificial feeling, but not offensive. An enjoyable offering.

12oz bottled 107 days ago poured into a can shaped pint glass at fridge temp 4.2% ABV. The beer pours bright very light yellow with short lived nearly white head. The aroma is a mix of adjunct fermentables, yeast and lime. The taste is very light with almost no "beer", only the mild sweetness and flavor of the lime. Mouthfeel is very thin, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. There is a hint of oily/buttery finish, but again it's masked by the lime. Overall, a beer for folks who don't like beer. Live and let live, I say.
