Pours a hazy yellow color, nice carbonation, nice little fizzy white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is grainy, kinda ricy, with some coriander, grassy, slight bananna. The taste is kinda malty, sweet, with some grassy, coriander, bananna notes. Light Body. Not too bad, but still would not buy again.

Odd duck. Poured with a large, sudsy, off white to cream colored head that quickly faded to almost none and a tiny bit of lace. Color is a slightly hazy orange hued amber with a few bubble trails. Aroma is kind of bitter, yeast, spice and a bit of grain. Flavor is orange, grain and a bit of spice. Body is thin and carbonation is ok. Finish is short to medium in length and like the flavor. Won't finish this.

This to me was rather bland but decent. The appearance was an orange gold but nice head. Smell was almost not there nothing really to say. Taste was very average the late flavor had a citrus taste to it. Mouthfeel was very clean there was no linger, almost a there and gone way about it. You can drink a hundred of these as there is little alcohol and lite.

Picked up on sale for $6 for a 12 pack.

Pours a bit of a hazy straw color. Not much head at all. Smells like wheat with some citrus notes. Taste is pretty much how it smells. Not bad, but leaves a bit be desired. Very easy drinking beer as it's very light-bodied. This beer is alright if the price is right, but there's not a lot to it.

Bought for me by a friend at a biker bar. On-tap and served in the ubiquitous shaker pint glass.

A: Cloudy straw with a hint of gold. A foamy eggshell head sticks around longer than I was expecting. Leaves no lace.

S: Smells like a light beer that's had the usual corn and/or rice adjuncts replaced with wheat. The wheat gives the nose a touch of interest, but other traditional wheat beer aromas of banana and clove are absent. A light sweetness rounds things out.

T: More flavorful than normal light beer fare. The wheat adds a light dry bread flavor out of the gate. A light malt sweetness is hanging out too. Bitterness is very light and completely tasteless. Finishes quite clean.

M: The light body is grainy and could stand a bit more fizz.

D: I'll admit that I didn't go into this with high hopes. If I had to drink a Light Beer, I would actually choose this.

if you gotta go bud- golden wheat is the way to go. it is clearly a knockoff of bluemoon. i love wheat beers, i was surprised to see bud come out with a beer that has a unique taste(for bud) such as this. all in all i dont mind the golden wheat at all. i mean im not gonna be knockin anyone over to get to this, but im not gonna kick it out of bed either. its a ok effort from a big box.

Had this on tap in New York City, mostly as a dare. Pours a pale orange colour with thin white head. Head retention isn't bad, traces of lace on the glass. Smells of mild wheat malt, with some grains. Very mild flavour. This is pretty much like a typical light beer, with some added wheat. I guess that makes this better than a light beer though. Really big carbonation made this harder to drink, but this wasn't awful or anything. I certainly don't plan to have another though.

A- cloudy, grainy orange amber color with frothy foam that fades quickly and leaves minimal lace.

S- Faint hints of wheat, coriander, citrus, lemon peel, and muted spices

T- Watered down. Again the wheat profile is lacking, the spice is muted, but orange and citrus tastes do stand through.

M- Watery and grainy, highly carbonated

D- Its ok, but watery, lacking flavor, and boring.

A - Light amber color with an orange hue. Average sized, foamy, light, bubbly white head. Average retention leaving almost no lace.

S - Slightly grainy aroma with a hint of coriander and citrus. Very subtle lemony aroma. Vague wheat aroma. Overall it is a little lacking.

T - Like the aroma there is some grainy and wheaty flavors along with a subtle spice kick. Not overly spiced or bitter, but the wheat does not take over nor is it very strong.

M - Light body with above average carbonation. Thin feel with a more crisp feel.

D - Easy to drink. Since the spiced flavors are pretty subtle it won't kill your taste buds. Not really inspiring me to get another though.

Notes: Not a bad beer for just grabbing a macro beer. This is a little too watered down for my taste though. It's essentially Bud Light with a slight spice and wheat kick for flavor.

Poured from the bottle into a beer glass.

A-had a murky appearance from the added orange peel, but was a nice golden color.

S-smelled a lot like Blue Moon and other Belgian Wheat style beers. Had a notably citrus aroma. Very pleasant mixed with the spices in it.

T-a very citrus taste to it. Could definitely pick out the orange and coriander flavors in it. Tasted a lot like Blue Moon, which was perfectly fine with me. No unpleasant aftertastes

M-a good mix between the carbonation and the flavor. Felt very crisp and refreshing to me.

D- For me it was a very drinkable beer. I had 3 of these in a row and wasn't left feeling full.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. Hazy and amber appearance. Nice 1/2 inch head that quickly disappeared. Citrus orange aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel with good carbonation. Pretty dry but more flavor than i had expected. No real bitterness. My wife LOVED it when she had a sip. Not a bad offering. I'd put this in the same boat with blue moon. I think I've averaged a couple per year since it was released.

Poured into a pint glass.

A- A decent orange/amber color

S- Smells a little a little like a pina colada with bud light.

T- Much like a bud light, but with some wheat and sweetness, almost like a malibu breeze cocktail.

M- Thin, watery, not much carbonation.

D- I guess because its light its easy to drink, but I wouldn't want to drink 12 of these, too much artificial flavoring.

Not bad, but not that good.

It did not look bad or smell bad. It was an amber color and hazy like a wheat beer. You can smell the taste the coriander and citrus flavors that were force injected into this steaming pile of trash. No real hop flavor but that is not wheats are for. The malts missed the banana bread taste of a good wheat and it was more of a spiced beer. No I will not drink another unless I am completely plowed under and nothing else is available. Mouthfeel is thin and watery no surprise. Pass on this.

From 11/25/10 notes. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

a - Pours a ligh,t murky, pale orange yellow color with two inches of white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of citrus, orange peels, coriander, wheat, pepper, and spices.

t - Tastes of citrus, orange, wheat, and spice/coriander.

m - Light body and moderate to high carbonation.

d - Surprisingly not awful. I was apprehensive when I saw this at my Uncle's house but out of the normal BMC beers, Bud Light is actually my favorite, so figured I'd give it a try. Definitely a light beer that is dominated by the orange/citrus and coriander in the nose and taste. I think I would personally not be able to drink too many of them, but if you're looking for a light BMC beer and enjoy Bud Light, worth trying one of.

Poured into a pint glass. Showed a hazy yellow/gold with frothy white head, good retention and clung to the glass the whole time. Smell from some spice and citrus. Taste very light up front with the coriander present and some citrus notes in the finish. Not bad, very simple, refreshing. Nothing wrong with it, nothing really right though.

Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #33 (Oct 2009):

Times are a-changing ... the sacred Bud Light has been spun off, again, with a wheat and spiced theme similar to a Witbier, but really this is a Spiced Lager with coriander and citrus peel. Putting all skepticism aside ...

A lot darker than anticipated completely hazed, pale orange amber color with a good two fingers of head. Citrus peel and coriander in the nose, a hint of lemony wheat as well but still all a little faint. Very crisp and smooth with more body that a regular Bud Light--still light, though. Pleasing citrus and coriander with a quick snap of wheat, though the malt is thin throughout. Hops? With the addition of coriander, and the bitterness potential from it, we wouldn't be surprised if there were no hops--or, at the very least, single digit IBUs--but this isn't a hop-centric brew, so it doesn't matter. Exceptionally clean finish, with citric and coriander, that eventually faded away.

Not too shabby, but definitely marketed toward the non-beer drinker, or the light beer drinker, looking for just a bit more than Bud Light. Time will tell if this brand survives in the sea of trendy flavored beers.

I picked up a 24 pack on clearance for $8.99 so I'm assuming this stuff is out of date or didn't sell all that well. I poured most of a 12 oz bottle after swirling into a clean flute.

A. Golden yellow with a hint of orange. The beer was clear until swirling the bottle to re-suspend the yeast. Overall not a bad looking beer.

S. Slightly spicy and fruity with a faint yeast aroma. Wheat malts and some malty sweetness.

T. Light and refreshing with a little hint of orange and a very faint hop presence.

M. Light, smooth and maybe a little under-carbonated for the style but not bad overall. Slight aftertaste which could be a little more pleasing to the palate.

D. I am not disappointed with this purchase. Its some of the cheapest beer I've bought and about half the price of regular buzz light.

I would definitely pick this up again for a baseball game or something.

Smells slightly spicy, citrus and corriander scent lingers slightly. Tastes good for a budweiser product, my favorite bud beer for sure. Has slight spiciness and easy drinkability to it, good for colder days when you want to drink more than a few. Goes down smooth and has no after-taste to speak of. Very light in color for a wheat beer/witbier. I would recomend this beer. Good when wanting to just catch a buzz and drink 8 or 10 beers.

Appearance: Clear with a amber brown color. Head dissipates quickly to leave no lacing or head.

Smell: Very little smell present. Very light lemon orange scent, it's hardly noticeable.

Taste: Slight wheat malt taste followed by a lemon/orange flavor. Very light and not bad, but not entirely good. Could use a more present wheat malt flavor. Considering that this is a bud light I'm not surprised that this is what they consider a light wheat beer.

Mouthfeel: average, nothing special. Better than Bud light, but that's like saying a beer is better than a turd.

Drinkability: I'd get really tired of this beer really quick. It has flavor so I'd drink one, if it were free (this was a free beer), but I wouldn't drink more than two.

The beer pours a beautiful gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is average. It has a dry pale and wheat malt scent along with a light coriander and orange peel spice. The spice aroma is faint, but noticeable. The taste is decent. It's has a dry, pale and wheat malt flavor. It's light and easy drinking with a touch of spice. It's a bastardized American version of a wheat beer, but's it's a nice summer brew. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low/medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. Again, this is a quaffable summer brew, but not a beer for someone looking for a traditional wheat beer.

I'm not gonna lie, I really like this beer. Maybe because it's a Bud Light that doesn't taste bad, so by comparison it's good.

It has the same lame beer qualities as other domestic light beers (not enough hop, needs malt, too watered down) but the flavor really worked for me. The wheat taste really comes out, and in a good way. A strong yellow straw taste turns this domestic light beer into something worth reviewing. I hope they keep this one around.

Picked this up in a pinch The smell was basically forced citus with no hops to speak of. the low abv content combined with the bad taste, kinda of like bud light with an orange peel in the bottle, made this beer below average at best. I won't be picking this up again.

Nice impressive head of off white, with thick bubbles, becoming a thin cover with clinging lace. Color is hazy deep yellow, rating a 7 on the SRM chart. Not much to smell, roasted wheat, yeast, citrus. Nothing special in the taste, weak wheat, and citrus (lime). Sort of foamy, frothy in the mouth, too much carbonation. All right for chips and dip, but not bold enough for much of anything else.

Reviewed from notes.

Pours a faint orange that is somewhat hazy with an off white head. Nose brings forth faint citrus and a bit of grain. Taste brings a decent amount of citrus flavor and some bread. Mouthfeel is on the moderate side of light but is a bit too creamy. Drinks better than its name sake, but isn't terribly good in any respect
