I give this one high ratings because it's my light beer of choice. I am a craft beer guy but this one is still solid. Light but still plenty of flavor to make it interesting.

poured from a 12oz twist-cap bottle into a tall new glarus pilsner glass. pours light amber with almost two fingers of off-white foam head that settles into a thin collar around the glass. toasted, biscuit-like malts and dark bread on the nose. some earthy hops. taste follows with a slight honey / malt sweetness. it’s about as easy drinking and smooth as it gets for an amber lager. medium-full mouthfeel. quite carbonated. i liked this.

Crystal clear, dark amber body; lively, dense carbonation; initial thick, fizzy head that soon dissipates to a thin, wispy circle of foam inside the glass. Pleasant, mild caramel smell; slight herbal note. Mild malt sweetness; light sense of hop bitterness; faint herbal notes. Medium body; smooth.
This is not a bad beer, considering it's a gluten-free offering and a light beer. The highlight is the flavor, which seems to expand and become more prominent as the beer warms.

Way better than regular ultra. Can looks better, color looks better, taste is better, smell is better. It's easy to drink, a little bit sweet with some character.

DATE: June 25, 2022... OCCASION: a double dip for beer reviews tonight--should be easy to follow up Corona Premiere, no? GLASSWARE: Hennepin pokal...pours a chestnut amber body, indicative of its namesake... trafficking bubbles build a briefly significant off-white head that simmers to a healthy halo... toasted malts and cereal grains are welcome to a GF offering, with grape (?!), heavily candied sugars, and light citrus weaving in and out... its mouthfeel is thin but not rinsing, with a finish that stays long enough to incite another sip... its body holds rather well for a beer of this ABV and calorie count.... the cereal malts are toasted well enough... its aftertaste suggests raisins, toffee, and syrupy sweet candied sugars, albeit in a drinkable package... this would be welcome at a gathering or party for sure--but on Beer Night, it's not going to win my interest too often. The gluten-reduced approach is appreciated, for sure...

Nowhere near as good as Michelob Lager. Amber malt extract forward without showcasing the agave to any evocative extent. Pale malt...maybe 6-row. Cheap caramalt.
Drinkable and inoffensive, lacking any overt adjunct (i.e. corn or rice) notes, even if it does delve a bit too much into extract-y malt syrup-y flavours for my liking.

Amber Max has a thick, egg-shell head and a clear, bubbly, amber appearance, with no lacing. The aroma is of rich multi grains. The flavor is similar, with syrupy agave sweetness and no bitterness. Amber Max has a medium body and a crisp finish.

Light copper, very clear, white head, loose and no retention.
Some mineral water aroma, along with some very slight sweet maltiness.
There’s a definite malty sweetness to the flavor, albeit slight. It’s still very crisp with a dry finish. Much better flavor than the regular “ultra”.
If an extra carb and a half’s not a deal breaker, this is much better than the regular blue and white can.

Hey, who watered down Busch Copper Lager? Not bad for a light beer, more character than standard Ultra. A little more carbonation than I like but let it breathe a little and that dissipates.they must have used agave to replace corn syrup for an Ultra twist. Anyway, I liked it for what it is.

12oz'er
Looks like a can. Smells higher ABV than it should. Taste is very sweet and malty. This is a light beer with (some) body and a few more ingredients than corn, water and booze. Very good if we're rating to style, which we is

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear amber color with a one finger head of white fizzy foam. The head fades very fast leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a caramel and bready aroma mixed with smells of a light grain and a touch of fruitiness.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice sweet caramel and light bready flavor mixed with some other tastes of a light brown sugar hints of grain. These tastes are later joined by other flavors of a toffee like sweetness and a hint of hay, leaving one with a nice pleasant and mildly sweet taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thin with a carbonation level that is average. Overall, the feel is pretty good. A lightly higher carbonation may have been a bit more fitting, but for the sweeter amber tastes the feel is actually pretty good overall.
Overall – This is a great slightly sweeter session style amber. You could drink this all day. Great for a cooler fall day, hanging out watching football, tailgating, or just simply shooting the breeze.
