Born on 4/22.

Frothy white head quickly dissipates while lazy streams of carbonation ascend to the top of the glass. Extremely pale gold coloring that I expected to be darker. If you recognize this beer as the color of urine then you probably need to drink more water. Smells of rice and faint corn. Grainy, sweet, and not that appealing.

Taste is grains with a sweet, corny vegetable finish. Basic, but more palatable than the smell. Mouthfeel is on the richer side which I believe the marketing term for is full-bodied.

Would drink again.

Drank from a 12 fl. oz. bottle purchased at Downtown Wine & Spirits, Somerville, MA
Born on date: 15May13
Served in a pint glass

Crystal clear, pale straw yellow appearance. A fluffy, bright white, two-finger crown capped the liquid. The head quickly fell to a thin film. Steaks of drippy lacing tricked down the glass.

The nose was very nondescript. Sweet and somewhat candy-ish with subtle notes of bubblegum. Hints of crisp and powdery lager yeast notes. Not much else going on.

The flavor profile was somewhat more interesting than the nose. It too was sweet with subtle bubblegum notes. Touch of grainy malts. Slightly tart and lemony. Hints of noble hops appeared in the finish.

Thin and fizzy on the palate. The snappy carbonation gave the liquid a slight frothiness.

Like many fresh, brown bottled, American adjunct lagers, the King of Beers was unoffensive and went down easily. Overall, pretty decent for the style.

Only 1700 people have reviewd this beer and that is amazing considering I bet every single person on here has tried it at least one time. Nobody picks up the louisville wooden bat and jumps into the bigs... They start with a Tee. Which in this symbolic move is a mega brewers lager. The only good thing about this beer is it is extremely clear. Other than that.. the taste, head retention, fizzyness, and smell are all below par.
